Jennifer Aniston embraces a straightforward philosophy for staying fit: keep moving.
The beloved Friends icon’s personal trainer, Dani Coleman, recently unveiled Aniston’s fitness regimen secrets that help her remain fit and fabulous at 56. According to Coleman, Aniston balances consistency with kindness towards herself in pursuit of her wellness objectives.
“She thrives on a challenging workout. Her dedication is only surpassed by her humor and humility,” Coleman shared with the Daily Mail in an interview released on Thursday, January 8. Despite her hectic schedule, the actress remains devoted to her fitness routine. “We continue to have fun and unlock new levels of strength together,” Coleman added.
Coleman also highlighted Aniston’s belief that any form of daily activity, no matter how minor, is beneficial. This outlook is why Aniston is fond of PVOLVE, which offers workouts of various lengths and formats, allowing her to stay active regardless of her time constraints.
In addition to eating nutritiously, Aniston loves to break a sweat with pop music blasting, Coleman said. “Our sessions are filled with hard work, a good playlist and a few intermissions to play with the pups!”
Coleman noted they have been working together for five years and met through a mutual connection, hitting it off right away. “I’ll never forget our first session — we did a full-body workout using our p.band, p.ball and gliders,” she shared.

As for what they do during a workout session, “Jen and I train utilizing our Signature formats: Strength & Sculpt, Sculpt & Burn and Progressive Weight Training.”
That includes full-body workouts, resistance training and weights. “We mix in heavy dumbbells with a focus on building lean muscle mass,” Coleman said, calling Aniston a “super woman.”
Coleman recently launched a 2026 campaign called Worth It Everytime, which centers around the benefits of carving out time for a workout — even if it’s just a few minutes.
In a recent post on the PVOLVE Instagram page, Aniston said what makes it worth it for her is “that amazing feeling at the end.” She added, “When all the work is behind and you can exhale.”
In September 2025, Aniston spoke about her food indulgences while promoting her children’s cookbook, Cook with Clydeo, including 35 recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
“Honestly, having a group of friends over is always an instant pick-me-up,” she told People.
Aniston noted that if she’s not “making some sort of comfort food like pizza nights, burgers or Mexican food,” she loves paying a visit to her trusted food spots. “I’ll go to my favorite restaurant with some girlfriends, have a martini and some delicious meal,” the star added.
Prior to that, an insider told Us Weekly exclusively in June 2023 that Aniston loves to meditate and hike with her dogs so she can feel her best.
“Jen’s meals are rich in protein with a healthy amount of carbs and he also indulges in treats and cheat days,” the insider shared at the time. “If she wants to enjoy a dirty martini or tequila, she’ll splurge. It’s no big deal.” The source pointed out that it’s about “being as healthy and happy as she can be.”
