Jennifer Aydin is firing back at an online rumor claiming she and her husband, Bill Aydin, have filed for bankruptcy.

After the 47-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star came across an article on Facebook titled, “RHONJ Stars Jennifer and Bill Aydin Declare Bankruptcy Amidst Financial Struggles,” she made it clear that she and Bill, 51, a plastic surgeon, are not facing a “massive debt” nor are they preparing to unload their Paramus mansion.

“Jennifer and Bill Aydin from Real Housewives of New Jersey have filed for bankruptcy, citing massive debt that has been accumulating since 2021. The couple is now being forced to sell their $3 million mansion to settle their financial woes, leaving fans shocked by their sudden financial difficulties,” read a report from a RHONJ fan page on Facebook this week.

But according to Jennifer, that is not the case at all.

“I just saw this on Facebook,” she wrote in a caption of a screenshot of the report shared to her Instagram Story over the weekend, further deeming the claims against her and Bill as “fake news.”

Back in 2021, Jackie Goldschneider, 48, took aim at Jennifer’s finances on an episode of the show, suggesting that her and Bill’s home was “like the Taj Mahal but with a high mortgage and no furniture.” However, while appearing on an episode of Watch What Happens Live after the comment was made, Jennifer shot down her co-star’s claim, denying that she and Bill had a mortgage.

“I found it interesting because I don’t have a mortgage,” Jennifer stated. “I paid for this property cash, and we built it halfway. We paid with bank checks, and the rest was a construction loan to finish the build. So, I actually don’t have a mortgage. Check that, attorney!”

While Jennifer and Bill may be doing fine financially, the same can’t be said for their RHONJ castmates. In fact, in recent weeks, both Teresa Giudice, 52, and her husband, Luis Ruelas, 50, have been hit with tax liens, her in the amount of $300,000, and him in the amount of $2.5 million.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is currently on pause.
