Adore Jennifer Lawrence’s casual flair but hesitant to invest in high-end pieces from The Row? There’s no need to worry.
The celebrated actress was recently seen navigating the chilly streets of New York City, dressed in a chic ensemble that combined high-fashion items with more accessible pieces. Her outfit included the cozy Ugg Classic Short II Booties priced at $190 and a luxurious Toteme cinched puffer jacket, retailing at $2,400.
However, the real eye-catcher in the “Hunger Games” star’s outfit was her vibrant red FreeCity Satin AirJump pants, which she sported again just a few days later. This early-2000s favorite, beloved by style icons like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, is experiencing a stylish comeback among celebrities, reaffirming its role as a fashionable and cozy essential.
Fortunately, this look is accessible for everyone, as Bloomingdale’s offers similar options in various colors, all of which garner enthusiastic reviews.
These machine-washable, 100% cotton pants receive accolades for being “the coolest, comfiest sweatpants” and “perfect for traveling.”
A third shopper wrote, “I absolutely love the sweatpants! I have never been able to find a pair of joggers with a flattering cut, but these fit perfectly! They are also so comfortable and cute!”
Available in dozens of shades for any taste, the comfy pants can be worn in several ways, with shoppers suggesting sizing up if you prefer a baggy look.
Lawrence and The Row’s stylish founders are not the only celebrities wearing the brand, as Dakota Johnson sported a similar pair last month in Los Angeles.
“The Materialist” star wore them low over her high-waist Lululemon leggings for a quintessential celeb off-duty style.
You can re-create the look with FreeCity’s Heathered Logo Sweatpants.
Selena Gomez also wore a hoodie from the label’s Madhappy collab in an Instagram Story selfie in November.
While that line is now sold out, Bloomingdale’s has plenty of other FreeCity hoodies available, including one in the same Blue Ice shade Gomez wore — as well as a stunning aubergine, pink, green and more.
But while many stars are supporting FreeCity lately, no one has been more dedicated to the line than Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who never stopped wearing it.
Perhaps the fashion designers knew something all along? Cute sweats don’t go out of style for long.
