Jeremiah Brown shared if he would explore a relationship with Huda Mustafa outside of Love Island USA, and he revealed when their romance went south. The 25-year-old also recalled when he cheated on a past girlfriend.

In the new season, Huda was bothered when Jeremiah undercooked her pancakes. At the time, she claimed he wasn’t doing enough in the kitchen. The argument surprised many fans, given how strong their romance began.

On the Chicks in the Office podcast, Jeremiah was asked if he would explore a relationship with Huda outside the villa.

“After watching it back and hearing some things she was saying … no, no. God, no,” he said. “This stuff she be saying is just too much for me. That’s just not how I communicate about a person.”

“I really cared about her. So when you hear someone you care about [calling you] a b**ch and [saying] f**k you … it just hurts,” he went on. “And then the next day, trying to kiss me and get back together.”

On The Viall Files podcast, Jeremiah addressed the downfall of their relationship.

“Things were amazing until the pancake day,” he said, via @aniaahluv on TikTok. “We had [like] eight days of just fire. Yeah, there were some minor things, but we had … a crazy genuine connection off the rip. And where things started going south was [when] I told her who I was in a relationship, and then she kind of took that as who I need to be now. And I didn’t nip that in the bud.”

“So I take responsibility: I didn’t sit her down and [say], ‘Yo, that’s not who I am,’” he expressed. “Instead, I said, ‘You know what? You’re right. Let me be Superman already.’”

He then recalled his mistakes in a past relationship.

“Two years ago, a month into my relationship, I cheated, and I had to look at myself in the mirror,” he said. “I [made] myself up in my head to be this great guy, and I was like, okay, how come I didn’t have the strength to say no to this girl? What made me not strong in that moment?”

“It [was] one of my best friend’s birthdays [at the time], and then I [had] my [two] genuine … homegirl friends that [came] over,” he continued. “I don’t want to blame alcohol, and I don’t want to talk about the alcohol part, but we all got super lit, went out to the club, came back, she followed me to the bathroom, and I didn’t have the strength to say no.”

He said they had sex, and he felt “instant regret.”

“Three hours later, I told [my girlfriend] what happened,” he said. “We broke up, got back together, and then we had to start therapy, and I started working on myself.”
