Jeremy Madix shared an update with his sister Ariana Madix, and he revealed how he feels about her ex Tom Sandoval ending the relationship. Jeremy also addressed a “red flag” with Scheana Shay, and he suggested she “used” him to hurt Ariana.

After Tom cheated on Ariana, Scheana maintained her friendship with him, though she seemed to change her tune when Vanderpump Rules fans scolded her. Until recently, Scheana also stayed close with Jeremy, who was reportedly feuding with Ariana. Sometime after the cheating scandal, Jeremy was allegedly seen laughing with and hugging Tom.

On No Filter With Zack Peter, Jeremy was asked if he thinks Ariana made a mistake in choosing Tom as a partner.

“Well, given everything that we know now, yeah, for sure,” he answered. “[At the start] he seemed at face value like a really nice guy. Really caring, big heart. I just think when you make a commitment to somebody, you got to kind of do everything you can to make that work. And communication is a big point.”

“It definitely didn’t end well, and I couldn’t despise him more for that,” he added. “Maybe it did get blown out of proportion, but at the end of the day, that’s my sister.”

As for where Jeremy stands with Ariana, he said things have changed.

“We’re doing great. We’re trying to figure out a good time for us to go get lunch and kind of hang out. She’s been super busy. She’s killing it…” he said. “[Recently our mom] broke her femur, so she’s been going through kind of rehabilitating that … [and she’s] feeling kind of emotional and alone. So my sister and I have kind of come together to rally around my mom and kind of lift her up a bit. And through that, [Ariana and I have] grown closer.”

He shared that they “made amends.” During their difficult time, Jeremy was “going through something,” and he perhaps said and did things he “shouldn’t have.”

At one point in the interview, Jeremy suggested that Scheana used him.

“I believe [Scheana] referred to me as problematic,” he said. “[It] hurt my feelings [because] … Scheana and I have always been close. She’s always been like another sister to me … So when she kind of said that I was problematic, it made me kind of ask the question, were you using me to hurt Ariana this whole time? Because I know you guys were kind of having a moment there. Did you kind of pull me in closer in that time to … add some salt to the wound? … Her saying that kind of raised a red flag.”

He suggested that Scheana was displeased with Jeremy for agreeing with Kristen Doute and fans that Janet Caperna was “social-climbing” as a “fan.”
