Kate Gosselin’s ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, and son Collin took aim at the matriarch following the reveal that she’s dating the famous family’s ex-bodyguard.
“Guess who really ruined the marriage,” Jon, 48, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a screenshot of Page Six’s coverage of the relationship. “Read for yourself.”
“Maybe when I speak people will listen now!!!” he captioned the post. The upload included a photo of Kate, 50, on an outing with the reality TV stars’ former bodyguard, Steve Neild.
Via Instagram Stories, the “Jon & Kate Plus 8” alum linked to Page Six’s coverage, adding atop the slide, “I told you all.” Jon concluded in another Instagram Story, “No one believed me I guess I was right.”
Meanwhile, Collin — who has been estranged from his mother for several years — took to his own Instagram Stories to post a lengthy message about the relationship.
“What really upsets me is that my mom had an affair with our bodyguard way back in 2009, and for years would share hotel rooms with him while we went on family vacations, while I was in a connected room!” he claimed. “Now everyone thinks her being with him is some cute novel romance.”
“By the way my dad received death threats and got shunned by the public for years for ‘having an affair’ and ‘leaving his kids. I hope she doesn’t try to play this one off. Just come forward and be truthful.”
In another slide, Collin, 21, wrote that he’s “very busy in college, at work, and running my business” and “not big on the drama.”
“However, I feel very strongly on the matter of cheating and then blaming someone else for your own actions,” he continued. “Everyone says my dad and I are hung up on my mom. We are not. We have suffered the damage of a narcissist and cried together.”
He concluded the statement, “So no we won’t just go and make TikTok’s and act reformed when we still feel pain from our past. I love you dad.”
Reps for Kate, Jon and Collin did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment.
An insider told Page Six on Tuesday that Kate is living with Neild — after the reality star said in a recent TikTok that she’s been in a relationship for “a little over a year, maybe 14 [or] 15 months.”
“They have wedding plans, it’s that serious,” our insider divulged. “There’s no doubt that Kate is crazy about him … things are serious, they have discussed wedding plans and moving on that next stage.”
Rumors surrounding Kate and Neild circulated for years following Jon and Kate’s explosive 2009 divorce. The “Special Forces” personality had previously denied claims she was involved with Neild.
“Already the allegations they’re making about me are disgusting, unthinkable, unfathomable, and I am horrified,” she told People of the speculation amid her divorce. “The scary thing for me is [the tabloids] are going to take information and create a story.”
“It’s a matter of, ‘When will they stop?’ They’re going to keep going, and they’ll make up stuff to connect the dots.”
Kate and Jon were married from 1999 to 2009, during which they welcomed eight children together: twins Madelyn and Cara, 24, as well as sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Hannah, Alexis and Leah, 21. Kate obtained custody of the children following the split, with the reality show temporarily re-emerging as “Kate Plus 8” between 2015 and 2017.
In 2016, Collin was sent to Fairmount Behavioral Health Institute for unspecified behavioral issues at age 12. After spending two years at the facility, he reached out to his father, and Jon was granted sole physical custody of him.
A family feud emerged, with Collin and Hannah residing with their father and the other children apparently siding with the “Apprentice” alum. In a 2024 interview with the Sun, Collin accused the “Dancing With the Stars” personality of abuse, including allegedly locking him in a basement and zip-tying him — charges she pushed back on through an attorney, saying she never “intentionally” harmed him.
Kate “did what she did to protect herself and her family” from Collin’s “troubled behavior,” the attorney told the Sun.
In August, Collin took to TikTok with an emotional open letter to his estranged siblings, seemingly accusing his mother of allegedly “forcing” them “apart.”
“Born to be a team, us against the world…” he wrote atop a throwback photo of the children. “Forced to do it alone, and wonder every day what our lives could’ve looked like,” he wrote atop a solo pic of himself in a car.
He added in the caption, “Forced apart, pitted against each other. All the fame and money in the world, but what about kids being kids? I will always love them more than anything.”
