Jonathan Bailey addressed those red carpet kisses with Scarlett Johansson.

After locking lips with his “Jurassic World Rebirth” co-stars at multiple premieres, the actor explained to “Entertainment Tonight” why he gives his 40-year-old pal friendly smooches.

“I believe in being able to show love in all different ways,” the “Bridgerton” alum, 37, told the outlet Monday.

“And if you can’t kiss your friends … life’s too short not to,” he continued.

The Emmy nominee and Johansson, who is married to husband Colin Jost, first made headlines for puckering up last week.

The duo were warmly greeting each other at their movie’s London red carpet event at the time.

Johansson stunned in a pink Vivienne Westwood gown, pressing a hand to Bailey’s cheek while he hugged her in a brown suit.

They were all smiles during the quick kiss, which quickly circulated on social media.

The “Wicked” star suited up in gray at New York City’s premiere Monday, while Johansson opted for an ivory gown.

This time, the couple kissed in front of Jost, who coordinated with his wife in a white suit.

Social media users gushed over the photos, with one joking, “This is a pending ‘SNL’ skit.”

Another wrote, “Stop making this more than it is. Jonathan is the gay best friend every girl wants.”

Johansson and the comedian, 42, wed in October 2020 and share a 3-year-old son named Cosmo.

Jost is also the stepdad to Johansson’s daughter, Rose, 10, with ex-husband Romain Dauriac.

As for Bailey, the “Broadchurch” alum came out as gay to his loved ones in his 20s — and to the public in 2018.

“I thought that in order to be happy, I needed to be straight,” he recalled to GQ in 2022. “I reached a point where I thought, ‘F–k this.’ I’d much prefer to hold my boyfriend’s hand in public or be able to put my own face picture on Tinder and not be so concerned about that than getting a part.”

He is private about his love life, telling the Evening Standard last year that he is dating a “lovely man.”

Bailey, who did not identify his partner in the 2024 interview, added, “I don’t know if I would be able to be as confident to speak out on other things if I felt that my whole life was up for grabs.”
