The Real Housewives of Miami’s Julia Lemigova is standing up for her costar and friend Larsa Pippen.
“Behind every headline and photo is a human being with a heart,” Julia, 53, wrote via her Instagram Story on Sunday, August 10. “This obsession with tearing women down the moment they look ‘different’ is toxic, cruel and beneath all of us.”
While sharing a candid photo with Larsa, 51, Julia delivered one final message to her gal pal.
“My friend, you have always been stunning inside and out @LarsaPippen,” she wrote.
The positive message comes after Larsa decided to respond to rumors that she recently had plastic surgery.
After plastic surgeon Dr. Mai Kaga uploaded an Instagram video about Larsa claiming she went from “naturally beautiful to noticeably overfilled,” the Bravo star decided to set the record straight.
“OK, so I feel like that photo went viral [and] I’m wondering if someone made it look like that because this is what my face looks like, you guys,” Larsa said in a Saturday, August 9, Instagram Story video. “I’m on TV, so you know what I look like. I just shot my reunion a few days ago, so you’ll see what I look like at the reunion.”

She continued, “I did have PRP. I did have an allergic reaction to the PRP, which I didn’t even know you could have. So, my face is a bit swollen, but it doesn’t look like that. Keep on hating, guys!”
Platelet-rich plasma treatment injects a patient’s own platelets to promote healing. According to the Cleveland Clinic, the treatment can ease the pain of osteoarthritis and can even treat skin conditions and hair loss.
Larsa has been open about her plastic surgery procedures in the past. During a 2022 Real Housewives of Miami reunion show, she admitted to having breast augmentation surgery and having her nose and lips done.
After Kaga’s video went viral, the New Jersey-based doctor seemingly responded to Larsa’s latest message.
“Well, that got out of hand,” she said via her Instagram Story on Monday, August 11. “I just want to say thank you to everybody for supporting the main message that we care about enhancing your natural beauty and this old era of being overfilled and getting taken advantage of and having unnecessary treatments and losing your natural beauty is over.”
Kaga told her followers that maintaining and enhancing “what makes us unique and pretty is in.”
“For everybody that helped keep the commentary positive and to keep that main message moving forward, thank you guys so much,” she added.
