He’s not here for her prayers.
Justin Bieber took a swipe at his mom weeks after she prayed for his “healing” in a social media post.
On Sept. 24, Pattie Mallette wrote via Instagram that “we’re cheering you on and praying for you always Justin” after he shared news that he was headlining Coachella while rocking a tee that read “Pray for me.”
“I declare freedom, strength, clarity, and healing over you Justin,” she continued her touching post, which featured photos of the singer. “Every chain of fear, confusion, heaviness, and pain — be broken in Jesus’ name.”
However, it seemed like the Canadian singer wasn’t appreciative of his mom’s prayers when he left a rather impertinent comment on the post on Tuesday.
“Only thing I need healing from is my rolled pinky toe from playing ping pong,” the 31-year-old said as many of his fans laughed at the comment.
At the time of the “Nowhere but Up: The Story of Justin Bieber’s Mom” author post, Bieber promoted his return to the Coachella stage with a black-and-white video shoot on the grounds of the festival.
He captioned the post, “see u in april.”
He had, however, also shared several other posts where he asked ChatGPT to tell him “the truth about how human effort is hurting humanity.”
The “Daisies” singer then captioned his conversations, “Jesus teaches that our effort is simply a response. To being gifted life and forgiveness. Jesus becomes the prize. And growth becomes something you desire because of the grace we have received.”
In the last year, Bieber has sparked fan concern due to his odd public behavior, including riding on a Segway in his underwear and open cannabis use.
He also sparked marital rumors with his wife, Hailey Bieber, and even confirmed them in his album “Swag.”
However, the businesswoman shut down any concern over their marriage by telling critics to “move on” and “chill out” during her Vogue interview in May.
The two have since been putting on a united front on social media, including with a sultry photo shoot at the Coachella grounds.
