Kaitlin Olson Honors Her Late Father, Her ‘Forever Favorite Person

Kaitlin Olson, known for her role in High Potential, is grieving the loss of her father, Don Olson.

“Honestly, it feels a bit uncomfortable to share this on social media. It’s such a delicate and personal matter,” the 50-year-old actress expressed on Instagram on Monday, May 18. “But it feels even more wrong to just carry on with life as if the most devastating thing hasn’t occurred, as if everything meaningful hasn’t just come to a halt.”

In her heartfelt tribute, Olson described her father as “my first love, my first protector, and my forever favorite person.”

She further shared, “He fought with all his strength for so long to stay with us. Right now, words seem inadequate. None can truly capture who he was. The greatest blessing of my life was having him as my dad. Perhaps the second greatest was being with him as he passed.”
