Karen Huger may not have attended the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion after being found guilty of DUI and entering rehab, but she did make an unexpected appearance, via a video message.

In the just-released trailer for the upcoming special, Andy Cohen, 56, describes Karen’s absence as the “elephant in the room” as he introduces a video message she sent to the cast. A number of shocking moments then follow, including claims about Karen’s “boyfriend” and drinking habits, a “shame spiral” from Mia Thornton, 40, and a bombshell statement from Stacey Rusch‘s boyfriend, Anthony Thomas “TJ” Jones.

“The Grande Dame is not with us. She sent a message. Let’s take a look,” Andy shares as the sneak peek begins and Karen is seen crying on a couch.

“As much as I hate her, I love her,” Gizelle Bryant, 54, says after watching the clip, through tears.

“I think it’s just sad,” Keiarna Stewart, 37, adds.

Wendy Osefo, 40, however, is less sympathetic.

“Having seen that, it all adds up. And now I can confidently say, that is not my friend,” she declares, proceeding to reveal information she learned at a local restaurant.

“They said, ‘You’re on the show with Karen. She comes here every single day and she gets drunk,’” Wendy explains.

Ashley Darby, 36, has also received shocking information about their castmate.

“One of these journalists had messaged me that there had been a person in the car with Karen who fled,” she shares.

“Her boyfriend!” Mia replies.

When Andy asks about the jail time Karen is facing, Wendy says she’ll do “terrible” behind bars as Karen is seen in a framed photograph.

The camera then turns to Mia.

“You had this plan of you and Inc, it backfired on you, and so you said, let me drop Inc,” Wendy begins as Gizelle signals a potentially “fake” split.

“Let me pretend to drop Inc,” she clarifies.

At that point, Mia is seen backstage.

“There’s nothing worse than like, a shame spiral. And I feel like you’re in one,” Andy tells her.

Meanwhile, Keiarna seemingly accuses Stacey of “exploiting [her] family” as Stacey fires back by calling her a “liar.”

“How dare you?” Stacey asks.

As for the drama surrounding Stacey’s conservative relationship with TJ, Wendy reveals Eddie Osefo had FaceTimed with TJ to find out why he wasn’t there. And whatever she claims that TJ said takes the cast by storm, leaving them in shock.

“It is a lie. TJ would never say that,” Stacey insists.

But Wendy doubles down, saying, “TJ said that on camera,” as the cast chants, “Bring Eddie out!”

The Real Housewives of Potomac season nine reunion begins Sunday, February 16, at 8/7c on Bravo.
