90 Day Fiancé alum Karine Staehle (née Martins) is reportedly pregnant with baby No. 3, and it is unclear if her estranged husband, Paul Staehle, is the father as they split in 2023 and she has reportedly moved on romantically with another man.
“Shocking news!! It is confirmed Karine Martins is pregnant with baby No. 3,” the caption of a new post from 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates, who was the first to report about her child on the way, stated on Sunday, March 16. “First pregnancy with her boyfriend … her two small sons with Paul were taken by CPS [Child Protective Services] years ago … she started a GoFundMe to raise 50k to get them back she says the adoptive parents want child support.”
The TLC personality, 28, seemingly confirmed her pregnancy in a GoFundMe page titled, “Help Reunite a Loving Parent with Their Children,” and shared it via her Instagram page bio on March 15. In the description for the fundraiser, which has a goal of $50,000 and has raised $880 as of publication, Karine explained that she was “fighting to regain custody” of her and Paul’s two sons, Pierre, 5, and Ethan, 4, from Paul’s cousin, who has allegedly “demanded child support” from Karine.
“My child support obligation is over $1,000 a month. I have to pay to see my children, which is almost $400 a week at a supervised facility. The family court lawyer now wants $5,000 a month. My daily and monthly living expenses are overwhelming,” Karine wrote.
The Brazil native also hinted that she is expecting a baby girl via her GoFundMe by writing, “To make things much worse, a new law is about to go into effect in [Kentucky,] Kentucky House Bill 574, which will allow the government to take my newborn baby after she is born and not allow me around her unsupervised. I breastfeed my children, and this is a huge problem for me. I know I have made many mistakes in my past, but I love all my children and want to be with them.”
Karine concluded that if she is “unable to pay my monthly child support, which includes almost $7000 arrearage the court order is requiring me to pay,” she could potentially be arrested, which she fears could affect her application for American citizenship and may lead to her being deported.
“At which point, I would need a federal lawyer to fight to allow my children to return with me to their home country of Brazil, where they were born. This would never happen in Brazil,” she added.
In Touch has reached out to Karine and Paul for comment.

After Karine shared her GoFundMe on social media, 90 Day Fiancé bloggers 90 Day Fiancé Update and John shared a joint Instagram post reporting on the reality star’s pregnancy. The post included a mirror selfie of Karine cradling her baby bump in a blue floral dress, a snap of her holding up her shirt to show off her stomach and a photo of the 90 Day Fiancé alum with her reported boyfriend.
This is not the first time that Karine has been the subject of pregnancy reports. Back in January 2024, the UPS worker denied that she was pregnant and engaged after Paul, 41, allegedly hacked his ex’s Instagram page to pretend to be her and make the claims.
“I’m very sorry about the drama last night. I want you guys to know l am not pregnant and I am single,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories, later adding, “I didn’t post that, I’m not with anyone, everyone knows who posted that. P.”
A similar incident happened two months later when Karine claimed that Paul allegedly hacked her Facebook page and claimed that she was pregnant again.
“My Facebook was hacked by my ex-husband, I am not pregnant,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.
Hours prior, Paul spoke out by reposting a conversation from Karine. “Karine sent me these messages between her and her new boyfriend about their new pregnancy,” he wrote over the messages. “I wish them the best.”
Karine and Paul, whose latest split in their on-off romance came in early 2023, lost custody of their sons in June 2022 when Child Protective Services took Pierre and Ethan due to the former couple’s frequent relationship issues. Pierre later went missing in July 2022, and he was believed to be with Paul, despite the Kentucky native not having custody. The boys went into foster care until Paul’s cousin filed for custody, and they have been in his cousin’s care ever since.
