It’s been several years since Kathryn Dennis has been on Southern Charm. However, she keeps an active profile on social media. Recently, she shared a photo of her daughter, whom she has with her ex, Thomas Ravenel. Notably, this comes after a messy custody battle saw Kathryn only receive visitation rights with the child.

Kathryn, 33, and Thomas, 62, began dating in 2014 and had an on-again, off-again relationship until 2016. They have two kids together, born in 2014 and 2015. She lost custody of the children in 2016 and then again in 2023 over her drug use. Reports say she gets to see the children every other weekend. She left Southern Charm in 2023. 

Kathryn took to her Instagram account on July 30 to share a selfie with her daughter, Kensie. She captioned the post, “❤️ Love over all ❤️ truth on the way ❤️ [also bad bronzer day lol oh well] love is truth and I’m not afraid ❤️”

In the photo, the two are outside and appear to be on a porch or patio. Kathryn is wearing a black shirt with a light tan colored jacket. She and her daughter are both smiling in the photo. Notably, comments are turned off for the post on Instagram. 

Kathryn has been open about how the custody agreement impacts her. She shared a group of images of both children in September of 2023 while they were bowling and provided a lengthy caption that discussed her feelings on only seeing them every other week. 

She wrote, “When I am with you, I feel so alive again..even when you can’t see me or hear me, I am always thinking of you..know that our love connects us by an invisible string, always. I know that we will make it through these tough times, and they won’t last forever. 🙏♥️ sending strength to all of the coparents out there.”

The former Southern Charm star then said, “No matter the situation being without your children is the most difficult pain you must carry each and every day you are without them. It’s so unnatural and such a drawn-out devastation. We need each other’s love and support—here’s to hope for the future ♥️”
