Kathy Griffin revealed what allegedly caused Lisa Rinna to lash out against Kim Richards during their Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast trip to Amsterdam amid a recent appearance.

Years after the ladies’ season five encounter, which was sparked by Kim’s suggestion that she knew a dark secret about Lisa’s husband, Harry Hamlin, 73, the 64-year-old comedian shared what she learned from Lisa, 61, and Harry about the shocking on-screen moment.

“There was an episode of [RHOBH] where Lisa took a glass and was so pissed at Kim Richards she freaking broke it and was gonna twist it in her neck, which is my kind of b*tch, [and] she kept saying because there was a rumor about Harry,” Kathy began in a clip shared by You Know Nat on Instagram.

According to Kathy, she’s never heard a single rumor about Harry in her life, despite the fact that “he’s been around forever.” So, when she found herself at dinner with the couple, she couldn’t help but ask, “What was the rumor that pissed you off so much?’”

“She’s like, ‘First of all, I blacked out in that moment. I was about to kill someone,’ and then I go, ‘What was the rumor?’ I go, ‘Harry, what was the rumor?’”

After a bit of a pause, recalled Kathy, Harry responded with an outrageous statement.

“He’s such like a quiet-spoken, intellectual guy, and he goes, ‘They said I f**ked a dog.’ And you guys, I lost it laughing. And I went, ‘What?’ I go, ‘That’s what you were gonna fight over? Somebody said Harry f**ked a dog?’ I just thought that was the funniest thing,” Kathy admitted. “Of all the rumors, how did even one person be like, ‘Hm, that is possible.’ I thought the rumor was just that he was having an affair with somebody, maybe an affair with someone on the show.”

“Harry Hamlin is not a dog-f*cker,” she added.

Also during the appearance, Kathy said that Lisa admitted to feeling as if she were in the “Matrix” at that moment — and as if she “could kill someone.”

“She realized at that moment, ‘I could take someone’s life but I’m gonna go to prison and never see my husband and my kids again,’” Kathy explained.
