Katie Maloney clapped back at rumors suggesting her boyfriend, Nick Martin, cheated on his girlfriend with her in a newly shared Instagram comment.

After the 38-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum appeared on the shared podcast of Nick Viall, 44, and Natalie Joy, 25, where she gushed over her romance with Nick, 42, a vocalist and guitarist for Sleeping With Sirens, the relationship faced criticism from a couple of fans, one of whom shaded the idea that Nick was a “rock star.”

“I am [so in love] but not with [ex-husband] Tom Schwartz,” Katie confirmed on the June 3 episode of The Viall Files. “I’ve only recently, I guess, talked more about it, but I’m super happy.”

But after a clip from the episode was shared, someone called out Nick for potentially cheating to be with Katie.

“Um, he cheated on his girlfriend to be with Katie. I can’t love this for her,” they wrote.

In response, Katie insisted that Nick was not unfaithful.

“Literally did not happen lol,” she replied.

Another person in the comments section reacted to Natalie describing Nick as a “rock star.”

“Bon Jovi. Springsteen. Hetfield, Lee. Cornell. Staley. Bennington. I could go on forever. Those are Rock stars,” the IG user stated.

“No sh*t Shelly. I never claimed to be some pillar of virtue. Go take your hating a** on a walk,” Katie fired back.

As the podcast episode continued, Katie confirmed Nick would be making an appearance on her and Dayna Kathan‘s podcast “once he’s back from tour.”

Looking back on her own experience on tour with Nick, Katie said, “It’s fun.”

“If you enjoy kind of, hanging out and just hanging, then it’ll suit you. But I just like being with him. So it’s like, I could be sharing a bunk with him or walking around Disneyland. I don’t know, I just, whatever we’re doing, I just, I just wanna be with him,” she admitted.

Still, spending three nights on a tour bus came with its challenges.

“My back was wrecked. Luckily, I’m not a huge person. He’s not a huge guy. So we can fit nice, but it’s just, every two hours you wake up and have to like, change positions because your hips hurt or your shoulder hurts, but I still like, will do it … I’ll risk back problems for it,” she shared.

Vanderpump Rules is expected to return to Bravo later this year with an all-new cast.
