Sharp-eyed followers of Cynthia Bailey spotted Nick Reiner, who is facing murder accusations, appearing in the backdrop of one of her photos.
In May, Cynthia Bailey, well-known for her role on “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” used Instagram to honor her ex, Leon Robinson, on his 64th birthday.
Bailey, 59, delighted fans by posting a nostalgic picture featuring their daughter, Noelle Robinson. The snapshot captured the heartwarming moment of Noelle hugging Leon, the famed “Five Heartbeats” actor, during a dinner outing.
Numerous fans eagerly contributed to the comments section, noting that Reiner appeared to be seated at a nearby table in the top right corner of the photograph.
“So y’all gonna act like Rob Reiner’s son isn’t in the background there?! Oh ok,” one user remarked, highlighting the unexpected cameo.
“Is that Nick Reiner in the background?” asked another person.
“Is that Rob Reiners son in the background 😶,” commented a third netizen.
On Reddit, fans said it is “terrifying” to see Nick — who was charged with murdering his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, last December.
“I think it is terrifying because he became a murder[er],” one user claimed. “The thought that a man in the background choose [sic] to kill both his parents in a violent knife attack can seem terrifying.”
It’s unclear when the image was taken.
Page Six has reached out to Bailey for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Last December, Michele and Rob were found stabbed to death in their Brentwood, California, home. He was 78 and she was 70.
The film director and his wife’s death certificates stated that they died within “minutes” of receiving “multiple sharp force injuries” with a “knife, by another.”
Nick — who was diagnosed with schizophrenia before the killings — was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder for the deaths. He is facing a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole or the death penalty.
In February, Nick pleaded not guilty to the double killings.
