Lala Kent hinted at a phone call with “unhinged” Kelly Dodd, who “told me that I was Gollum.” Lala shared how she responded, and Kelly then posted a picture of Lala next to the Lord of the Rings creature. The Vanderpump Rules star also addressed why she looked different in the photo Kelly shared.

Back in 2021, the Real Housewives of Orange County alum called out Heather McDonald for interviewing Lala, who Kelly thinks is an “idiot.” Lala eventually clapped back. At some point in their feud, Kelly posted side-by-side photos of Lala and Gollum, and she asked her fans, “Does anyone else see the resemblance??”

“Kelly was unhinged, but also amazing TV,” said Lala on her Give Them Lala podcast.

She explained that Kelly “called” her once and “told me that I was Gollum.”

“I was like, ‘That’s rude,’” Lala recalled. “And then she f**king posted the picture she was referring to, next to Gollum. And I was like, ‘Oh, I’ll give it to you. It’s pretty spot on.’”

Lala suggested that she respected how Kelly brought a “receipt.”

“She’s hella unhinged, but I too enjoyed watching her [on RHOC],” Lala went on. “And you know what? When I did see the photo, it was [before my] ears [were] pinned back. I did have an excessive amount of oil in my hair. I attempted to put makeup on. It just didn’t hit.”

In a June 2022 Instagram post, Lala shared a video of herself after getting plastic surgery.

“I continued on the elevator, announcing to everyone who entered, ‘I got my boobs done.’ Some may wonder why my head is wrapped up,” she wrote in the caption. “We all got so caught up on boobie talk, we neglected to mention my sweet left ear being pinned back 🤍 I feel really happy.”

A month earlier, Lala addressed her feelings in an Amazon Live session.

“I’m so insecure about my left ear,” said the star at the time, via BravoTV. “It sticks out a little more and when I pull my hair fully back into a sleek bun, you can really tell. I’ve been insecure about it since I was a little kid. We all have insecurities and I’ve gotten over many… and the ear is something that I haven’t gotten over and I’m fixing it because I can and I’m so excited.”
