Kelsey Parker issued a heartbreaking announcement following the loss of her third child. The podcaster, 34, shared that her son, Phoenix, was stillborn in June. Phoenix is Kelsey’s first child with her boyfriend Will Lindsay. She shares Aurelia, six, and Bodhi, four, with The Wanted singer Tom Parker, who tragically passed away from a brain tumour in 2022. On Monday, Kelsey shared with her fans that episodes of her podcast ‘Mum’s The Word’, which were recorded during her pregnancy, will continue to be released.

She wrote: “Before I gave birth to Phoenix, I had recorded a lot of podcasts for my @mumstheword_pod before going off on maternity leave. I want to thank the lovely team for checking in and being patient to put some episodes out that were during my pregnancy. Over the next couple of months these episodes will air. They were part of my journey so I didn’t want to not share them, and they all have incredible guests with really important stories and messages.”

Kelsey added: “Please take the time to listen to these episodes and remember to be kind when doing so.”

The podcast series, which she co-presents with McFly star Danny Jones’ wife Georgia, delves into the trials and triumphs of parenting as they interview other celebrities and experts.

Kelsey’s brave update comes after she celebrated her daughter’s sixth birthday, which came just days after she announced that Phoenix had been born “sleeping” a week before his due date.

Returning to Instagram with an emotional tribute to her daughter, Kelsey penned: “Aurelia means ‘The Golden One’ and that’s what you are… you’ve been through so much my darling daughter, but you’re the most precious little girl any mummy could wish for.

“I’m so happy we got to spend this weekend celebrating your birthday and turning another year older. I’m beyond proud of you and the amazing young woman you’re growing up to be.”

Just days earlier, Kelsey announced the heartbreaking death of baby Phoenix. After sharing an emotional poem in honour of her late son, Kelsey respectfully requested privacy in a secondary post.

She penned: “Before I receive an influx of lovely messages and heartfelt wishes, I wanted to just say that I truly appreciate everything you are all going to say and share. But with the news being so raw, I would really like to ensure that we as a family are given space and time to process this devastating and earth-shattering news.

Kelsey concluded: “I love you all and thank you for your understanding and space. Love always, Kelsey, Will, and the Parker Family.”
