Kendra Wilkinson knows she’s not that girl anymore.

The Girls Next Door alum and Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s former live-in girlfriend took to Instagram on Sunday, January 12, to defend her appearance amid social media criticism over her weight.

“Yes, I’ve gained weight. Yes, I’m aging. Yes, I’m not that girl I was before (Playboy girl) 🤣 but for once in a long time I feel good and mentally healthy,” Wilkinson, 39, wrote alongside a full-mirror selfie of her physique.

The mom-of-two, who shares son Hank IV, 15, and daughter Alijah, 10, with ex-husband Hank Baskett, added, “Kids are my everything. Feeling pretty balanced. Working out and cooking a lot more. Golf, work. No housekeeper or nanny.”

The Kendra Sells Hollywood star said she is happy with her appearance, though she admitted she will be keeping an eye on her alcohol consumption.

“For those of you hating on my new weight, 40 yr old face please know that I’m happy, healthy and at peace in life finally. Leave me alone and respect that I’m where I actually want to be finally all together,” she wrote.

“Almost 40 is feeling amazing and yes to the people criticizing my alcohol intake…I hear you and that will be monitored better. Drinking too much is definitely drinking too much but you know what’s coming up in JUNE…. Shots. 😂. Love ya,” she wrote, referring to her 40th birthday on June 12.

In November, Wilkinson gushed about her kids, Hank IV and Alijah, while speaking exclusively to Us Weekly.

“My kids are effing amazing. They’re just the most amazing human beings,” Wilkinson told Us “I pinch myself every day. They’re just good, nice people, just aiming for a good life and to be good and to do good in the world. It’s such a pleasure and it’s just the most amazing feeling to have them. They give me so much purpose.”

Wilkinson added that being a parent is “a full-time job,” saying, “They’re both into basketball, and they’re both really, really successful at basketball.” She also said of her son Hank, “He’s on his way to the NBA, like big time, and I hope we all get a chance to see all that happen.”

Wilkinson and Baskett married in 2009 and divorced in 2018. Before their split, they shared a significant look inside their marriage via reality television shows such as Kendra, which aired from 2009 to 2011, and Kendra on Top, which ran from 2012 to 2017.

Despite going their separate ways, Wilkinson said she and Baskett, 42, are a team when it comes to parenting.

“Honestly, I couldn’t have a better coparent,” Wilkinson exclusively told Us in October. “I couldn’t ask God for a better person in my life.”
