Kris Jenner and Khloé Kardashian have given fans a glimpse into the cherished tradition of the Kardashian-Jenner family’s annual Christmas Eve celebration.

During the December 17 episode of her podcast, “Khloé in Wonderland,” Kardashian, 41, shared insights about the festive gathering. “Every year, we host a Christmas Eve party—a tradition that dates back to before I was born. My mom has been organizing these events since the 1970s,” Khloé explained. “As we grew older, she entrusted us with the responsibility, feeling confident we would uphold the tradition. We’ve managed to do a good job, rotating the party between each sibling’s home.”

Jenner, 70, emphasized the magnitude of organizing such an event. “It’s a significant undertaking,” she noted. “There’s a lot of energy, time, resources, and creativity involved. Before the rise of social media and digital photography, we would have elaborate family photoshoots in our Christmas outfits. These shoots became grander as our family expanded, and they brought me immense joy.”

Attending a Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Eve party is truly a spectacular affair. Known for their lavish celebrations, the family continues a tradition that Kris Jenner has lovingly handed down to her children. In fact, during a June 2019 episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” Kim Kardashian was moved to tears when Kris passed the hosting baton to her. […]

The Famous Kardashian Jenner Christmas Eve Parties Through the Years

Oh, what fun it is to attend a Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Eve party! The famous family is known for throwing an extravagant bash every year, a tradition matriarch Kris Jenner passed down to her kids. Every year the family, which also includes Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, gets together to celebrate the holidays with their closest friends and family. The extravagant soiree typically features top-oft-the line decorations and entertainment.

Khloé explained that the family will also hold meetings, that not everyone attends, to help plan the event.

“Not everyone shows up, and that’s fine, but if you don’t show up, you don’t get a say so,” Khloé shared. “Then you can’t come to the third meeting and be like, I don’t like that. No, we had two meetings before and we already decided on X, Y, and Z.”

As for who pays for it all, Khloé revealed that they “all equally split the cost of the party.”

“These parties are so epic and they’ve grown into this enormous proportion and everybody looks forward to it every year. Our friends who’ve never celebrated Christmas love to come,” Kris said. “And it’s so much fun and we always dance at the end of the party, we always have a DJ, usually a performance, which is so exciting, last time we had a party I think it was Babyface, and did all of his beautiful Christmas music, and then we had a DJ and we just have the best time.”

“When you guys got older and you grew up, you guys all had your own friends and all the sudden there was a hundred more people, now there’s a couple hundred, two to 300 people at a Christmas party,” she reflected. “I thought, ‘OK this has got to start rotating.’ I thought it was so much more fun.”

Khloé confessed that she’s not a big fan of hosting the annual event and expressed her gratitude toward her mom for sparing her this year.

“I don’t want the reins. I don’t want that many people in my house. And this year, I was very proud of you for saving me,” she admitted. “Because they were like, ‘Kim’s house is under construction, so is Kourtney’s house.’ I don’t know what’s going on with Kylie’s why that wasn’t an option, I don’t even know what happened and then you were like, ‘Let’s put it at Kendall’s.’ So happy because everyone was like, ‘Khloé’s house!’ You think I want people in my home? No. No! I don’t want the party.”
