The Kardashian/Jenner family are known for their looks, wealth, and many business ventures, but they also have some unique hidden talents, too. For example, Kim Kardashian once shared that she can sleep with a full-face of makeup, which allows her to wake up looking glamorous and can practically walk out the door.

Calling it the “worst advice” she could give her fans, Kim stated that once she gets her makeup done at night, she’ll lay on her back “and never ruin my makeup.” “Not the healthiest, but it is what it is,” she added.

In a Season 6 episode of The Kardashians, Khloé Kardashian admitted that her older sister has one other talent that she’s actually jealous of. Calling it Kim’s “rare gift,” it’s something that most people might be envious of, too.

In Season 6 of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian are invited to Mumbai, India, to attend the lavish Ambani wedding, although the sisters have never met the billionaire family. With only 48 hours in India, Khloé and Kim have a lot to do, including last-minute planning for their wedding outfits for the festivities and even taking the long flight to get there.

With so much going on, it’s inevitable that the sisters will be exhausted. In Episode 6, while on their way to one of the wedding-day events, Kim and Khloé take a quick snooze in their car, but unlike Kim, Khloé has a much harder time falling asleep. It’s something that the Good American founder believes is Kim’s “rare gift.”

However, Khloé shared that while she normally can’t doze off as fast as her older sister, their quick trip to India had her “turning into Kim.”

“I don’t have that ability, normally, but on this trip, I’m turning into Kim,” she shared.

Episode 6 saw Khloé and Kim attend the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, which took place in July 2024. While they did not personally know the couple, Kim shared that they “definitely have friends in common,” including famed celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. Both Kim and Khloé wore stunning diamond necklaces and diamond headpieces, with Kim also wearing a diamond nose piece during the wedding.

Kim Is Known To Fall Asleep During Her Glam Sessions

Kim being able to fall asleep quickly is certainly something people are envious of, but it’s also gotten the mother of four in compromising situations. In fact, Kim’s dedicated hair stylist, Chris Appleton, took a very embarrassing photo of the Skims founder while she was getting her glam done.

Back in March 2021, Chris shared a photo of a very sleepy Kim while he was doing her hair. In the photo, Chris gives the peace sign as Kim, who has her full glam-on, sleeps with her mouth open and head back in a salon chair. He captioned the photo, “I love u Kim.”

Thankfully, Kim was okay with Chris keeping the photo up on his social media. In the comment section, she playfully wrote, “I f*****g hate you!!! LOL You exhausted me!” In fact, Chris went the extra mile and even made the photo his profile picture. “OMG everyone’s profile pics I’m crying!!!” Kim wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Chris has been a stylist to the stars for many years. Looking through his Instagram, he has also worked with Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Kidman, and Camila Cabello. However, Chris is extremely humble and takes his career seriously. He once shared with The Cut about working with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars:

“Fortunately, for me, I don’t really think of it like that, because I can get nervous before any job. There’s no difference to me doing Mrs. Jones that comes into the salon every week, and she’s 80 years old and has a walking stick, and a celebrity because, honestly, the main objective is I love what I do, and I really genuinely want to make people look their best.”

Kim Kardashian Admitted To Using CBD To Help Her Go To Sleep

Back in 2019, Kim revealed that she used CBD, short for cannabidol—a compound found in the cannabis plant, to help her slumber. While it’s not known if Kim still uses CBD to help her fall asleep, she admitted that at the time that it “saved her life.”

Talking to People, the Skims founder shared, “How do I do it all? It is exhausting. I just say CBD. [laughs] But I do. I really that has gotten me through a lot.” Kim did note that while she experiments with all types of CBD, she is “not a weed smoker.”

“That’s not my thing. I got into CBD a few months ago. It’s saved my life. Even to sleep at night. I like the gummies. I will just use a little bit and fall asleep [laughs]. I don’t think I would take a Xanax or an Ambien again,” Kim added.

That same year, Kim showed just how much she loved taking CBD when she threw a CBD-themed baby shower for her fourth child, Psalm West, who was born via surrogate that May.

According to W Magazine, the party included a CBD bar that included CBD-infused bath salts and body oils.

Kim added, “So, because I’m freaking out and the baby is coming in, like, two weeks, I thought what better way to celebrate than to have a little CBD.”
