Kim “D” DePaola shared why Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga skipped his sister Teresa Giudice’s wedding. Kim hinted that it “backfired” on the couple, and she suggested they went against Andy Cohen’s wishes.

In August 2022, Melissa and Joe metaphorically held a middle finger to Teresa as they refused to attend her wedding to Luis Ruelas. To make matters worse, shortly before the ceremony, they posted content on social media seemingly mocking the Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s special day. This essentially ended the siblings’ relationship.

On her Get Real with Kim D podcast, former castmate Kim addressed the siblings’ final feud.

“Let’s start with how it started. The Gorgas pushed it because they didn’t go to the wedding,” said Kim. “[They should have] go[ne] to the wedding. Just go. But they were told that Teresa was getting her own show, [so they thought] it’s no big deal.”

“[They thought] Teresa was going off [RHONJ] — Teresa wasn’t going off. Teresa was coming back,” said Kim. “[But at the time,] they got the balls to say, ‘We’re not going to the wedding.’ And it backfired for everyone.”

Kim suggested that the Gorgas went against Andy’s wishes.

“You can’t tell Andy Cohen, I’m not doing this or I’m not doing that,” Kim went on. “He’s your boss. He’s your daddy.”

Last week, Jacqueline Laurita shared more insight into her own past feud with Teresa.

“I remember Melissa got so jealous [of my relationship with Teresa],” Jacqueline expressed on the Get Real with Kim D podcast. “[Behind the scenes] she was like, ‘Remember, Jacqueline, [Teresa] hates your guts. She hates you.’”

“I’m like, [Teresa and I are] fine, we’re good,” Jacqueline continued. “And that’s why something changed in Vermont. Melissa must have got in her ear. And then I saw on camera, when I watched the show, she was in Teresa’s ear, saying like, ‘What’s going on with Jacqueline?’ She was planting these seeds … And then she was trying to flip [the narrative] — like I was jealous that [Melissa and Teresa] were friendly — when I was the one pushing for them to be friends the entire time.”
