Kim Kardashian showed off her toned figure as she stepped off the treadmill wearing a sports bra and a pair of shorts.
The 42-year-old took to social media to show the results of her year-long diet and exercise regime. It was kickstarted by a desire to wear an iconic Marilyn Monroe dress.
The mum-of-four wore the dress at last year’s Met Gala, reports the Mirror. Taking to her Instagram story, Kim put her slimmed-down figure on display as she wished her make-up artist Ariel Tejada a happy birthday.
Kim’s new look is a result of an incredibly strict diet and exercise regime. She said it made her learn “a lot” about both her lifestyle and health.

Kim shed 16lb (7kg) to fit into the gown Monroe wore when she famously sang Happy Birthday to John F Kennedy some six decades ago.
Speaking to Today, she said: “I looked at it like a role, and I really wanted to wear this dress. It was really important to me.

“It actually taught me a lot about my lifestyle and my health, and since then, afterward, I continued to eat really healthy. I mean, I’m down 21lbs now.”
The mum-of-four was on a no-carb and no-sugar diet over a three-week period to enable her to fit into the outfit, and also admitted that she wore a sauna suit two times a day and ran on a treadmill.
Her trainer, Don-A-Matrix, spoke to TMZ and responded to claims that the diet was unhealthy, saying: “Not at all. Not from my end from what I saw. We were working out sometimes twice a day.
“I think one of the misconceptions people have about Kim is she works like, really hard, so I was there through the process. So, it wasn’t like a starving herself type of thing. I mean, she’s been on a balanced diet.”
In her latest Instagram snap, The Kardashians star Kim pouted for the camera with her sculpted abs taking centre stage, as she wore a low-cut Balenciaga bra and lime coloured shorts which she paired with matching sandals.
Ariel dressed similarly, with Kim captioning the post: “Vacay Vibing w the bday boy.”
