Fate of Kim Kardashian’s critically panned legal drama ‘All’s Fair’ revealed

Kim Kardashian’s quirky courtroom drama, “All’s Fair,” stands trial against Hollywood’s critical elite. The outcome? It’s been granted a second season reprieve.

The upcoming season of “All’s Fair” is slated to start filming in the spring of 2026. Until then, Kardashian and her co-stars have a brief hiatus before they present their case once more to the ever-judging audience.

Despite facing relentless criticism from industry experts and securing a mere 3% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the show is making a comeback.

(Initially, as reported by Page Six, it languished at a dismal 0% rating but managed a small victory by climbing three percentage points. Now that’s a twist worthy of a dramatic courtroom finale!)

Yet, against all odds, this series has captivated viewers, becoming one of Hulu’s most successful offerings so far.

“All’s Fair” marks Hulu Originals’ largest scripted series premiere in three years, racking up 3.2 million views globally in its first three days on the platform.

“All’s Fair” follows Kardashian as Allura Grant, a powerful LA lawyer who navigates scandal both in the courtroom and her personal life as she leads an all-female firm of divorce attorneys.

Naomi Watts, Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash-Betts and Teyana Taylor also star in the series from “Glee” and “American Horror Story” guru Ryan Murphy.

The Hollywood Reporter’s Angie Han torched “All’s Fair” in her review by writing, “Kardashian’s performance, stiff and affectless without a single authentic note, is exactly what the writing, also stiff and affectless without a single authentic note, merits.”

Slate’s David Mack likened Kardashian’s acting to “a piece of drywall,” and “a haunted doll experiencing life for the first time.”

The cast have taken such jabs in stride, though: Glenn Close shared a cheeky illustration of the cast enjoying “critic bunny stew” — a nod to her iconic “Fatal Attraction” scene in which she vindictively boiled that bunny rabbit.

Close also defended Kardashian’s work ethic in a recent interview with Variety, saying, “What surprised me was Kim’s seriousness of intent… She always knew her lines. She never was late. She always was prepared. She had no pretensions that she was a great actress, but she was smart enough to have people around her who she could learn from. If she was a big ego or what I call a ‘life-is-too-short person,’ I would have been unhappy, but she’s not.”

For her part, Kardashian humorously hit back at the critics, too, by sharing several negative reviews and memes about the series in an Instagram post with the caption, “Have you tuned in to the most critically acclaimed show of the year!?!?!?”
