Kim Zolciak & Kroy’s Living Situation Revealed Amid Divorce

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann are still living together, despite their impending divorce.

As sources confirmed the Real Housewives of Atlanta star and her former NFL player spouse have remained in their marital home in Georgia following their April separation, another report shared a suspicious post Kim shared on social media just one day before their divorce news was revealed.

“Uber driver asked me, ‘Do you have a man?’ I said, ‘I am a man,’” the meme, which was shared to Kim’s Instagram Story on May 7, read, via Us Weekly. “He been quiet ever since. You ain’t about to kidnap me!”

Also on Sunday, Kim posted a clip of herself with three of her and Kroy’s children, including 10-year-old son Kash, and nine-year-old twins Kaia and Kane, at their home.

The couple, who was featured for eight seasons on their RHOA spinoff, Don’t Be Tardy, also share 11-year-old son Kroy “KJ” Jr. and Brielle Biermann, 23, and Ariana Biermann, 21, who Kroy adopted after they wed in November 2011.

While Kim frequently posts photos and videos of her kids, her most recent Instagram pic with Kroy was shared back in October 2022.

“Had the best weekend!! I love Nashville,” she wrote at the time. “Great company, A Great time for a Great cause [Bright for Brett]. Huge thank you to [Brittany Aldean and Jason Aldean] for your hospitality.”

Although Kim and Kroy have split, court documents obtained by TMZ on May 9 have confirmed the exes have continued to live with one another in their Georgia mansion, potentially to lessen the hurt their children will endure.

The outlet also said that while their home went into foreclosure in February, there is a grace period in which homeowners can pay off their overdue balances and maintain ownership of their home.

At this point, it’s unknown whether that’s what Kim and Kroy are trying to do or how long they plan to remain in the home together.

In her divorce filing, Kim said her marriage to Kroy was “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation” but didn’t reveal further details of why they split. That said, they’ve faced months of rumors regarding potential financial strife. And on Monday, just before their divorce was made public, it was noted that the two owed $1.1 million to the IRS and $15,000 to the state of Georgia in back taxes.

In a filing against Kim and Kroy earlier this year, it was noted that their home would be sold to pay off their past-due expenses.

“The debt secured by said Security Deed has been and is hereby declared due because of, among other possible events of default, failure to pay the indebtedness as and when due and in the manner provided in the Note and Security Deed,” the document stated, via Us Weekly. “The debt remaining in default, this sale will be made for the purpose of paying the same and all expenses of this sale, as provided in Security Deed and by law, including attorney’s fees.”

But just as Brielle and Ariana denied their parents’ home was in foreclosure a short time after the filing, the auction was called off.
