Kris Jenner is delighted to recommend her plastic surgeon, Dr. Steven Levine, to others, but there’s a catch—you need a “secret password” to secure an appointment with him.
At 69, Jenner openly discussed undergoing a second facelift earlier this year and expressed her desire to acknowledge Dr. Levine’s exceptional work by revealing his name to the public.
“As the buzz around my facelift grew, others started claiming credit for his amazing work,” Jenner explained during her appearance on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, which aired on Tuesday, October 14.
“I told him, ‘I want you to receive the recognition you deserve for what you did,’” Jenner recounted. “He wasn’t seeking the spotlight, which I absolutely appreciated.”
It was Dr. Levine’s idea to “come up with a password” for friends and family of Jenner to give when they call his office looking to book a consultation.
“If somebody calls and says, ‘I’m Kris Jenner’s best friend and can I have a consultation?’ They have to say the secret password,” she explained. “If I told you how many times his office has called and said, you know, Julie, you know, Monopoly’s on the phone and she says she’s your best friend. I’m like, ‘I’ve never heard of her.’”
Jenner added, “Definitely people have tried to get in. … So, if you know me, you know what the password is.”
Jenner continued to praise her “very talented young” doctor and his team in New York.
“I’ve never been in a situation where I felt so comfortable and safe and secure, and just loved by his team,” she explained. “They were so amazing.”
Jenner revealed the details of her facelift during an August cover story with Vogue Arabia.
“I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh,” she confirmed at the time. “I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy. Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself.”
Jenner — who will turn 70 next month — said this is her version of “aging gracefully.”
“If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully — meaning you don’t want to do anything — then don’t do anything,” she said, noting that she had the full support of her family to go under the knife and share the details publicly. Her youngest daughter, Kylie Jenner, even took the trip to New York alongside her mom.
“I feel it can be very inspirational to people who aren’t feeling so great about themselves,” Kris explained. “Even when I had my hip replacement, we filmed it. I have the conviction that sharing these things can be helpful.”
The same cover story featured Kris saying she’s feeling “great” and “happy” as she gears up for the milestone birthday.
“I just have to try my best to do what I can to feel good and healthy,” the reality star said. “My blessing is my family. If I can be a part of their lives in the best way possible, then I’m thrilled.”
