The Valley star Kristen Doute is making headlines with her candid thoughts on Jax Taylor’s budding relationship with publicist Lori Krebs, who also happens to be the former representative of his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright.
While appearing on the July 22 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Kristen, 43, didn’t hold back her feelings, dismissing Jax’s actions as expected and calling him “diabolical.” “To me, this is not about Jax. Jax is so diabolical … like, of course,” she declared.
For Kristen, the real issue lies with Brittany’s connection to Lori. Expressing her dismay, she revealed, “But with [Brittany] … this is Brittany’s trusted paid professional, a friend, basically part of her family for the past decade. It’s so totally deceitful. It’s her publicist. The one person who knows the ins and outs of everything.”
Kristen also expressed frustration over the backlash Brittany has received online, adding, “I’m tired of seeing everyone on social media come for Brittany and say, ‘You should have known.’ It’s like this woman’s sleeping with the enemy.”
Meanwhile, Brittany Cartwright herself has spoken only briefly about the situation. During the July 17 episode of her “When Reality Hits” podcast with Zack Wickham, the 37-year-old hinted at addressing her true feelings when she’s ready. “All I’m going to say about this […]” she remarked, leaving fans eagerly waiting for more.
Kristen’s The Valley costar Zack Wickham, who was in the audience for Wednesday’s WWHL episode, also gave his reaction to Jax’s new romance and didn’t hold back.
“I was actually this person’s biggest defender when rumors had come out before, because she’s been friends with our group for 10-plus years,” Zack, 38, said of previous speculation about Jax and Lori’s close relationship in 2024.
“I was actually very shocked. You know, she made her bed, and now she can lie in its disgusting sheets,” he added.

Brittany, who filed for divorce from Jax in August 2024 after five years of marriage, has since addressed Jax’s new romance with the publicist they once shared.
“All I’m going to say about this at this moment is I will be speaking my truth — the truth — on this matter very soon whenever I’m ready,” Brittany said on the July 17 episode of her “When Reality Hits” podcast. “As of right now, I am focusing on me and the most important thing in my life, which is my beautiful son. An insider previously told Us that Brittany cut ties with her now-former publicist after the photos of Jax and Lori emerged.
“It’s very upsetting to her and she is sick to her stomach over it,” the insider said. “She is shocked that photos surfaced and that they are out in public. Lori was with Brittany through dark days.”
