In the video, Jamaal Patterson-Bennett from The Venture Room approached the 65-year-old former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her husband, Ken Todd, 80. Jamaal, not immediately aware of Vanderpump’s fame as a reality TV personality and successful restaurateur, posed a question about her profession. Kristen Doute, 43, of The Valley, commented on the exchange after seeing the clip.
Jamaal, whose series is known for interviewing millionaires to uncover their success secrets, asked Vanderpump, “I’m trying to inspire the next generation. I’d love to know what you do for a living. Are you a business owner?”
To which Lisa responded with surprise, “You don’t know who I am?”
“You don’t know who I am?” Lisa replied.
“No,” Jamaal confirmed.
“You shouldn’t be in this business then,” she clapped back. “You don’t know about all the television shows named after me? Go back, do your homework, and then you can come and talk to me again.”
After Lisa called him out, Jamaal said, “Oh, you look familiar. Vanderpump.”
Then, after noting that his page had 400,000 followers of young entrepreneurs, Lisa further shaded him.
“Is that all? My dog’s left paw has more than that,” she declared.
Also during the sidewalk chat, Lisa encouraged young people to “get up early, work your a** off, do it better than anybody else, [and] stop all this Gen Z bullsh*t,” before joking that marrying Ken, who mysteriously disappeared amid the interview, was her “biggest sacrifice.”
“Getting married. Same person, 43 years,” she stated.
After the video was shared, Kristen, who has long feuded with her former SUR Restaurant boss, offered some shade of her own.
“You should have asked Ken,” she wrote in a comment.

Also weighing in on the situation was Zack Wickham, who “liked” Kristen’s dig.

The Valley season three premieres on Wednesday, April 1, at 8/7c on Bravo.
