These rumors gained traction after a clip from the eighth season of Summer House resurfaced. In the clip, Paige DeSorbo, 33, speculated that Amanda, 34, might leave Kyle, 34, within five years if he pursued his DJ career—an endeavor he indeed followed. The conversation has led many to wonder about the financial ramifications, particularly regarding Kyle’s business, Loverboy.
In an interview with Adam Glyn from Hollywood Raw, Kyle addressed these concerns head-on. “I’ve seen a bunch of videos pop up, discussing our potential divorce and the financial implications,” he remarked. “I don’t think a lot of people really understand the intricacies of my business to begin with. Is there debt? Yeah. I took a small business loan out.”
When asked about the potential impact on Amanda, Kyle was candid. “I actually have no idea,” he admitted, emphasizing that they do not intend to reach a point where it becomes a pressing issue. This statement leaves the future of their relationship and finances somewhat open-ended, but for now, Kyle seems intent on keeping matters amicable and focused on resolving any issues privately.
As for how it could impact Amanda, he added, “I actually have no idea, but we don’t really plan to get to that point.”

In addition to facing a lawsuit, which was ultimately dismissed in 2022, Kyle admitted to having $4 million in debt after spending $200,000 on legal fees on the case during an emotional conversation with Danielle Olivera, 37, on Summer House that year.
“Dude, there is so much misunderstanding going on right now, I almost want to throw up,” he said through tears. “Hey, friends! Maybe check in on me! Every day of my f*cking [life] for the last three years has been stressful.”
As for the season eight scene from Summer House, which aired in 2023, Kyle announced to Paige and Ciara Miller, 30, that he was “gonna become a DJ” and “go on tour,” which prompted both of the women to speak out on behalf of Amanda.
“Kyle, you’re not even thinking about her well-being, her as a person, her as an individual,” Ciara stated.
According to Ciara, she suspected that Amanda would become “resentful” that she’d supported Kyle and his business aspirations for so long, only to have her own dreams of her since-launched swimsuit line shot down.
“I don’t wanna have this conversation in five years that she’s leaving you,” Paige replied. “You’re starting that slippery slope. She’s gonna get so unhappy. And then you’re gonna lose your marriage because of a company.”
“You’re at a really big life crossroad. If this made her feel a little bit more confident, then see what happens,” she added.
Although Kyle acknowledged that Amanda branching out from her role as the creative director of Loverboy and pursuing her own aspirations could bring her “happiness and confidence,” he noted that the issue was “more complicated.”
“But is that the worst thing in the world that she goes off and she doesn’t work for Loverboy? You’re acting like that’s the craziest thing in the world,” Paige fired back.
“You know what? You know what I’m gonna do? I’m gonna go hire another creative director. Everything’s gonna be perfect,” Kyle replied, storming off as Paige and Ciara agreed he was being “selfish.”
