Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards’ estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, was named as a witness for his sister as part of his family’s restraining order battle, In Touch can exclusively report.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Mauricio’s sister, Sharon Umansky Benton, submitted a list of people she plans on calling to testify at a hearing on the petition for a restraining order against Simin Tabibnia.

Sharon’s petition asked that Simin not be allowed to come near her and Mauricio’s 81-year-old father, Eduardo Umansky.

Eduardo was in a relationship with Simin for many years.

Sharon said Mauricio will testify for a total of 20 minutes at the hearing and answer questions about his father.

Specifically, he will testify about the commissions Eduardo earned while working at Mauricio’s real estate company, The Agency.

As In Touch first reported, last year, Mauricio and Sharon were appointed co-conservators of their father. They accused Eduardo’s girlfriend of becoming “more controlling” and claimed she limited who could visit him.

In addition, they claimed she was taking advantage of him. Simin denied all claims of wrongdoing or that she had controlled Eduardo in any way.

Around the same time, Sharon filed for a restraining order against Simin accusing her of getting physical with her. Simin scoffed at the accusations and filed her own restraining order petition against Sharon.

In the end, Sharon was granted a restraining order, but Simin was not granted her request.

In October 2024, Sharon filed a separate elder adult abuse prevention restraining order request, on behalf of her father, against Simin. The upcoming hearing where Mauricio will testify is related to this petition.

Sharon called Simin an “abusive” girlfriend to Eduardo.

In court documents, Sharon alleged, “Around 10 years ago were the first signs of threats and abuse but it was difficult to understand exactly what was happening. Around August or September 2022 was when things began to escalate.”

“My father started having bloody arms and bruises. She would hurt him, when he would grab her arms, she would bruise and then threaten to send him to jail for abuse. As his daughter, I am trying to protect him from living out the rest of his life under duress,” Sharon claimed.

“We have known about some of the abuse including verbal threats, sexual manipulation, physical violence and filed a police report but my father is a battered boyfriend and has early signs of dementia and refused to press charges for fear of the threats that Simin has posed on him for many years,” Sharon said.

Simin adamantly denied all the claims.

She said she had been in an “exclusive relationship” with Eduardo for 18 years.

She accused Sharon of never being a fan of hers and often speaking negatively about her to Eduardo. Simin said Sharon tried to break up her relationship with Eduardo many times in the past.

“[Sharon’s] claims that I am physical abusive are also untrue and ironic. For a long time, I have endured a lot of violent physical abuse from [Eduardo],” Simin said.

She submitted photos of her alleged injuries to back up her claims. Simin said, “I am afraid of [Eduardo].”

“During [the relationship], I endured ongoing physical, verbal and emotional abuse. I now fear for my safety due to [Eduardo’s] actions,” she said. She accused him of punching her in the face and arms. She also said he shoved her to the ground and choked her.

“These incidents have left me not only physically injured but also emotionally injured,” Simin alleged.

She claimed Eduardo’s “violent outbursts appear to be triggered by alcohol consumption and interactions with his family.”

Simin claimed Eduardo continued to call her amid the family drama.

“[Eduardo] has been relentlessly harassing me, calling me and texting me over 100 times since the restraining order was filed, and often, and multiple times a day. These calls are continuous and persistent, with the most recent calls occurring December 4, 2024,” Simin claimed.

Eduardo has yet to respond to the allegations.
