Kyle Richards wants to “live in peace” following what she says was the “worst” reunion taping in the history of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But does that mean she’s done with the show?
As she continues to feud with her sister, Kathy Hilton, who Lisa Rinna put on blast over what she claims was an insanely cruel rant against Kyle in Aspen, Kyle addressed her future on the show while also revealing the last time she saw Lisa and Erika Jayne, whose publicist she claims is responsible for stories about Kathy’s meltdown in Aspen being leaked to press, and sharing which two castmates she potentially made amends with at the reunion.
“I want to live in peace,” Kyle told Entertainment Tonight on October 9. “My life off camera, I’m very happy. I do find myself saying, ‘What am I doing? I want to live in peace.’ But what people don’t really realize, I think, because it’s not always captured, or it is, but it’s not shown, we also have a lot of fun together, and we do a lot of great things.”
“The crew and the people behind the scenes, the producers and everybody, they become your family, after all these years. It’s really woven into my life now,” she continued. “It would be so strange not to do it after all these years. From the 13 years I started this show but obviously, there will come a time, when it’s time for me to hang up my diamond one day. I don’t know when that time is yet, but we’ll see.”
According to Kyle, RHOBH viewers likely don’t realize just how much her conflict with her family affects her.
“I try to not think about it and bury it too. It’s very painful to have these things play out on camera in the public eye and I knew it was going to be a difficult day, but that was the worst reunion in 12 years for sure,” she admitted.
In the sneak peek, Kyle was seen in tears and requesting Andy Cohen allow her to leave the set as she broke down over her family tension with Kathy.

“Things could be better,” Kyle said of where the two of them stand today. “And I have high hopes that we will work through things like we have in the past we are blood. We’re sisters, and family can be complicated sometimes.”
In addition to her relationship with Kathy being strained, Kyle suggested that her friendships with many of her other co-stars are also not in a great place, explaining that “things are pretty much where they were at the reunion.”
“I haven’t seen anyone since the season finale actually,” Kyle shared, confirming she hadn’t seen Erika or Lisa since the episode was filmed in February (aside, of course, from September’s taping of the reunion).
“The season was difficult, the reunion was difficult,” she went on. “I didn’t leave there with any resolution or feeling better about, only a couple things.”
As Kyle explained, she was able to work through things with two particular RHOBH castmates.
“I talked through some things with [Sutton Stracke] and [Garcelle Beauvais], which I thought I felt better about,” she revealed, “but the other stuff … I left there feeling worse.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 reunion continues with part two on Wednesday, October 19, at 8/7c on Bravo.
