Kylie Kelce was just as excited as Us to see Taylor Swift‘s surprises on the “New Heights” podcast.
During the Thursday, August 14, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, Kylie, 33, shared her thoughts on Jason and Travis Kelce‘s big guest, joking it “felt weird” to even mention “the other podcast” by name. She also teased that she’s “officially no longer the record-holder for the most-watched” interview on “New Heights,” adding, “There’s no way it’s even close and I love that for me.”
Kylie taped her episode one day after Swift, 35, was confirmed to be joining her boyfriend, Travis, and his brother on their show. “It is very entertaining to watch the internet break,” Kylie joked. “It’s just crumbling apart. And I love it.”
Not only was Kylie looking forward to Swift’s revelations, but she was also excited to see her own “New Heights” interview “lose its long-tenured reign as top-watched episode.” (Kylie has been a guest on her husband’s show twice, making appearances in September 2023 and December 2024.)
Swift made her highly anticipated debut on the Wednesday, August 13, episode of “New Heights” to announce her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, and to share insights into her relationship with Travis, 35, and his family. The pop star spoke candidly about her introduction to the NFL world, regaining ownership of her masters and how she’s spending her time after the Eras Tour.

More than 1.3 million fans tuned in live on Wednesday night to watch the interview, and by the end, Jason joked that his wife was about to be dethroned as the audience’s favorite guest.
“Don’t do that,” Taylor teased back. “You guys throw Kylie under the bus, you’re going to pay for it. You’ll find out.”
Swift has formed a close bond with Travis’ family since the couple began dating in summer 2023. Kylie, however, refused to reveal whether she knew about any TS12 secrets ahead of time.
“A lot of [fans] and people in my real life have been asking me if I knew this was happening, and to that I say … ” Kylie said on Thursday, playfully pleading the fifth.
Swift was more forthcoming on “New Heights” about her connections with the Kelces, opening up about her first impressions of Kylie and Jason after meeting at a Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game in early 2024.
“Did you know I was told to be on my best behavior?” Jason asked, to which Swift replied, “I didn’t know what you were told. I did know that one of the first things I saw you say to Kylie [was], ‘I was just shotgunning beers with the Bills Mafia and I really want to go through one of the fire tables.’ … She goes, ‘OK. Can we not do that right now?’”
Swift added, “Since then, I’ve heard her say that exact thing to your 4-year-old.”
Kylie and Jason share four daughters, who even got their own special shout-out from the pop star during the podcast. Swift revealed that she’s “very deep in a sourdough obsession” since ending her tour, and she’s trying out a new recipe for Travis’ nieces.
“This one I’ve been workshopping for the girls, because they love everything rainbow: Funfetti sourdough,” she said. “They love sprinkles. We put sprinkles in everything when we hang out.”
