The incident reportedly occurred when the 55-year-old former Flipping Out star suggested to an audience member that their presence in Las Vegas for the fan event was inappropriate during a segment at an “Ask Andy” panel. Although this moment was edited out, the 35-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum and current The Valley cast member spoke up in defense of the fan.

“Someone shared this with me, and I heard Jeff added, ‘If you’re in recovery, you shouldn’t be at BravoCon,'” Lala stated. “As someone in recovery, I have always attended BravoCon while maintaining my sobriety.”

Fans of Pump Rules are well aware that Lala embraced sobriety in 2018, marking her seven-year milestone earlier this month.

As Pump Rules fans well know, Lala got sober in 2018 and celebrated her seven-year anniversary earlier this month.

“To this man,” she continued, “Thank you for sharing your story. You are seen. You are heard. I am so happy you decided to come. I am sending you love, and know we are in this together. It is one day at a time.”

“You also made me feel less alone. So thank you … We got this,” she added.

Although Jeff’s new show, Still Flipping Out, was announced at BravoCon, rumors have been swirling that the series could be in jeopardy due to his behavior at the event.

Amid the backlash, Jeff told Us Weekly that Andy Cohen, 57, was “upset” with him.

“I think that maybe a couple of my jokes were inappropriate and insensitive,” he explained. “I have apologized … I know this guy. We’ve known each other for 18 years. He vents and look, and I sincerely did apologize. Now I gotta give him time to cool off. My experience with him, he’ll get back to me in one to three weeks.”
