Laura Woods, a prominent sports presenter, has treated herself to a substantial financial reward following her landmark transition to ITV and TNT Sports, announced on Wednesday.
The 37-year-old broadcaster, who is currently expecting her first child, has experienced a notable boost in her income after her departure from talkSPORT in June 2023.
Official documents from her company, The Pig and I, which manages her television-related income, revealed that Laura awarded herself a dividend of £400,000, translating to an impressive £35,000 monthly bonus.
Having established her business back in 2014, this marks the first occasion she has withdrawn funds from it, signifying a significant milestone for the soon-to-be mother.
In addition to the hefty dividend, she also secured an advance totaling £512,292, as detailed in company accounts that extend through the end of 2023.

After giving herself the massive pay out, her firm still has assets of £635,247, including £460,501 cash in the bank.
She is said to have earned £250,000 a year at TalkSPORT and is rumoured to have had a huge pay rise on her move to TNT Sports.
Laura started her career by being a runner on Sky Sports and has rapidly worked her way up the broadcasting ladder.
The presenter stepped away from talkSPORT in June 2023 after three years to become TNT Sports’ lead Champions League anchor.
She is also the face of ITV’s England and FA Cup coverage and fronted several Euro 2024 matches during the summer, playing a key role on screens across the UK.
It comes after Laura and Love Island partner Adam Collard, 28, announced the happy news of their engagement on social media last month.
The couple looked happier than ever as they posed for loved-up snaps after Adam got down on one knee at the beach in St Ives.
Alongside snaps of the special moment, Laura wrote: ‘And just like that… You make me happy. Thank you @carbisbayestate – the place we fell in love and now the place we got engaged, you made it so special. What a summer x.’

Sharing his own gallery of photos from the proposal, Adam gushed that Laura is his ‘whole world’.

The couple’s celebrity pals including Manchester City footballer Jack Grealish, Piers Morgan and Love Island’s Chloe Burrows rushed to the comments to congratulate the pair.
In one snap, Laura held her hands to her face in shock as Adam proposed on the beach before the pair were seen hugging in another photo.
Laura couldn’t contain her smile as she cosied up to her new fiancé while showing off her dazzling engagement ring to the camera.
The exciting news comes after Laura made her surprise pregnancy announcement, by sharing her first glammed-up snaps to her Instagram.

Laura took to Instagram to share her happy news with her more than 700,000 followers.
Posting a snap of her French bulldog and a sonogram which she and Adam held, Laura wrote in the caption: ‘Hey baby.’
