Linda Nolan's heartbreaking response to 'death prediction' amid cancer treatment

Linda Nolan shared her defiance as a user posted a list of famous names they thought could die this year after last week she suffered a horrendous fall amid her cancer treatment.

The singer, 65, received the all-clear from breast cancer in 2006 but was later diagnosed with incurable secondary cancer in 2017. Then, earlier last year revealed tumours in her brain – which were thought to be stable – have grown.

The cruel X user typed their predictions of who could no longer be with us this year which included, Davion Blessing – Dave Blunts (WC) John fisher – Big John, David Coote, Max George, and Linda Nolan.

In response Linda typed: “Every New Year, I’m always on the “predicted celebrity death” list. Guess what?? I’M STILL HERE!!” (sic)

Her fans quickly rallied round her as they scolded the user for being “horrible” and shared how “death can happen to anyone”.

One typed: “Life isn’t promised to anyone, even the horrible people who say things like that. Here’s to many more years for you yet, Linda and I hope you have a wonderful new year xxxx.”

While a second replied: “You’re still rocking it too, Linda. Wishing you good health and many more happy years to come xx.”

A third typed: “Oh Linda is sending you love and hugs. Happy New Year, and keep proving ’em wrong, lass. xx.” (sic)

And a fourth remarked: “Happy new year, here’s to another of not being dead xxxx.”

It comes as Linda, who fell over back in October, joked how her sudden lack of teeth, along with a bald head from chemotherapy, frightened away trick-or-treaters.

She told The Mirror: “I’ll use jokes and humour to cope, but of course it’s scary. And I have my days where I’m terribly down.

“I’m there, bald as anything, no teeth, and these poor little girls ran away screaming. I couldn’t stop laughing. I love Halloween, and they thought I was a witch. A real one!”

Linda explained that the fall was not her first. After being left “looking like I’d gone five rounds with Michael Tyson,” she moved in with her sister, Denise.

The sister of Loose Women panelist Coleen Nolan, Linda, also shared her heartfelt reflections as she approached her 60th birthday, a milestone she initially believed might be her last. Now, five years later, she expresses her gratitude and resilience, stating, “I’m still here.”

In a candid interview, Linda mentioned, “It’s easy to sit back and get depressed about it, but I’m still going.”

She revealed her hopes for this year, which are simply profound: “To not die, obviously. More than anything, I want to be surrounded by my family. My ultimate goal is for us all to be together this time next year.”
