Lisa Hogan, girlfriend of Jeremy Clarkson, has shared insights on the upcoming season of Clarkson’s Farm, discussing both her personal ventures and the hurdles they face. The 52-year-old, who once graced the screens as an actress and model, revealed some of the more challenging aspects of their journey.
Originally from Dublin, Hogan commented, “We’re always working on enhancing various features at the farm shop. A significant issue is parking, and I’m hopeful that we will soon receive the council’s approval to make our solution permanent.”
Hogan also elaborated on her side projects, which will make an appearance in the new season: “I’ve been interested in Valais Blacknose sheep for some time, so discovering a reputable breeder and finally getting them was incredibly satisfying.”
She added, “Regarding the snails, I love snail face cream, which inspired the idea. Naturally, Jeremy had different intentions for them.”
Fans of Clarkson’s Farm can look forward to the return of Hogan and the rest of the Diddly Squat Farm crew in the eagerly anticipated fifth season.
A trailer for the new series recently dropped and showed scenes of Jeremy, 66, in a hospital bed after a huge health scare.
In the season five teaser, the former Top Gear and Grand Tour host was given strict doctors’ orders to rest and adopt a new diet after heart surgery.
However, the star flouted these to head to London as part of a protest against the government’s budget, which heavily penalised farmers.
Addressing her partner’s recovery, Lisa said, “Jeremy was advised to rest for a couple of weeks, and that lasted about a day and a half. He still absolutely refuses to eat cottage cheese.”
Season five of Clarkson’s Farm will consist of eight episodes, airing in three drops. The first four episodes will be released on June 3 and then the next two will be hitting screens on June 10.
The final two episodes, seven and eight, will be released on June 17.
Reflecting on the impact of the hit Prime Video series, Jeremy said, “I like to think Clarkson’s Farm has altered the way people think about farming.
“I think more people now appreciate just how difficult it is and just how badly paid it is. For that reason alone, I think the programme has been a good thing.
“Obviously, things like the government budget have fed into that wider conversation across UK farming, and Clarkson’s Farm reflects that.”
