It’s been a while since Lisa Rinna last appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Still, because she was such a dynamic cast member, many fans wonder if she will ever return to the platform she has referred to as a sinking ship. Recently, she opened up about her stint with Bravo and how she feels about her professional relationship with Andy Cohen. 

As long-time RHOBH viewers know, Lisa, a celebrated soap actress, joined the show in 2014 for its 5th season. Then, after several years of stirring the pot with her co-stars, she announced in January of 2023 that she would be departing the series, for which her letter of resignation later became public. 

Earlier this year, Lisa compared the RHOBH to the “f**king titanic” and suggested that producers were “looking to save it.” Days later, she apologized to Andy during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. 

Fast forward to now, and Lisa is addressing her appearance on Andy’s show in February, suggesting that experience caused her to shrink back into being a “little girl.” According to The Blast, Lisa recently took to her Let’s Not Talk About The Husband podcast and opened up about her time with Bravo and her working relationship with Andy.

She said, “What happened to me, I believe is, the minute I walked into that space, I [fell] into a trope of Housewife to Big Daddy.”

Lisa went on to describe feeling as though she had reverted to being a person she no longer was. According to Lisa, “I fall back into a role that I played, I believe, for eight years, where I give my power to Andy Cohen, who is my boss. Just dynamically, that is where I went right back to. Almost like a little girl going back to the role she plays in her family.”

Lisa added, “I wouldn’t have said it if I didn’t agree in some way. But what I really realized and what I’m trying to say is: Think about in life when you go back into situations that maybe either held trauma or you have a reaction in some way. I was able to clock it and look at my reaction in the moment and how I really took on a different role than I am [in] right now. Two and a half years later, I’m in a different place, but I reverted back to that old place.”

She then shared the one thing she wishes she had done differently regarding quitting the series. She said in the podcast episode, “I wish I would’ve now that I look back on it. I was going to do it on camera, and I wish I would’ve done that.” Apparently, her plan was to quit during the season 12 reunion.
