While promoting her latest book, the 62-year-old former star of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reflected on her last BravoCon appearance. She recounted an encounter with Kathy Hilton’s publicist and discussed why Kathy, 66, and the Hilton family instill fear in so many.

“I sensed it at BravoCon. I thought, ‘This journey might be ending.’ It felt like everything just unraveled,” Lisa revealed on the February 12 episode of SiriusXM’s The Julia Cunningham Show.

Lisa acknowledged that she lost control of her emotions during the show’s 12th season, which coincided with the emotional aftermath of her mother, Lois Rinna, passing away in 2021.

According to Lisa, she lost control of her behavior during season 12, which saw the fallout of the death of her mother, Lois Rinna, in 2021.

“I couldn’t contain myself. I couldn’t control myself. I was acting out in so many ways. Everyone saw it. Everyone heard it. Everyone felt it. And, you know, it was the only thing I could do at that point,” she explained. “And I knew it was time to be done.”

While Lisa nearly quit at the season 12 reunion, she instead went home and sent messages and an email.

“I was right there gonna do it, woulda, shoulda, coulda, but I was ready to say it, and then, of course, I go home, and I write an email that night, and I text everybody, and I say, ‘I’m done. I’m done,’” she shared.

As for “when [she] knew curtains were for [her],” that happened when she came face-to-face with Kathy’s publicist after making claims about her alleged meltdown in Aspen.

“I saw her publicist, who I’ve known for years, and I know that that’s something they never allow, and I was like, ‘Here they come. They’re gonna f*cking kill me,’” she revealed.

Meanwhile, during an episode of Let’s Talk Off Camera With Kelly Ripa, Lisa was questioned about why everyone seems so afraid of Kathy.

“The Hiltons run the social part of L.A. in a lot of ways. They’re very … in New York too. They had their time in New York, but, you know, for 30 years, they’ve been like in the social world, at the top of the social world,” she noted.

Then, when asked if they decide who goes where, who gets invited to what event, and who will be cut out, Lisa confirmed, “Yeah, they can. Yes. I would say.”
