Lizzo broke down exactly how she lost 16 percent of her body fat after denying rumors she used medications like Ozempic or Mounjaro.

The “Good as Hell” songstress, 36, explained during an Instagram Live session Tuesday that counting calories has been vital to helping her lower her body mass index by 10.5.

She detailed that she avoids consuming “sugary stuff” in the morning and instead opts for “super savory” foods.

“If do something sweet, it’s gotta be with some sort of, like, carb. I’ll have, like, almond butter and toast. So, everybody’s body is different. Find out what works for you,” she explained, adding that she believes the only thing that “works across the board, science-wise, is calories in versus calories out.”

“That’s just how the human body works.”

Lizzo — whose real name is Melissa Jefferson — recalled having “two to three” large Starbucks drinks a day before discovering she had been consuming more than 1,200 calories.

The flutist explained she “had to start applying a calorie deficit because [she] was prone to binging.” And although she does not think counting calories is healthy, she uses it as a “tool to fight against the American food system.”

Elsewhere in her livestream, Lizzo pointed out that managing stress has been a major factor in her weight-loss journey.

“I’ve been working to get my anxiety under control for years. And then I decided that I want to release and I’m ready to stop waiting to be myself, like, fully and be happy,” she told her followers, adding that she also cut out caffeine to help “regulate [her] nervous system.”

“And I meditated. I calmed myself down. And I isolated a little bit — but not, like, made myself lonely, not the way I used to when I was depressed. I isolated myself in a mindful way where I had no distractions.”

Lizzo then acknowledged that she loves to “distract” herself with people, food, alcohol and “problems that [she] would create.”

“I would love to do that. And I stopped doing that,” she continued. “And I just focused on me.”

The “Truth Hurts” singer said she ultimately “felt lighter, energetically and emotionally,” after changing her mindset.

In January, Lizzo took to Instagram to boast about reaching her weight-loss goal, telling her followers, “I haven’t seen this number since 2014!”

She continued, “Let this be a reminder you can do anything you put your mind to. Time for new goals!”

Last year, the Grammy winner sparked Ozempic rumors as she showed off her slimmed-down figure on social media.

However, after being made fun of in an episode of “South Park,” she shut down the speculation by writing on social media, “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit.”

Lizzo later poked fun at the rumors by dressing up as a box of Ozempic for Halloween.
