Lori Loughlin made a notable return to the public eye at the Hallmark Christmas Experience event, following her recent high-profile separation from Mossimo Giannulli.
The former “Full House” actress surprised attendees during a “When Calls the Heart” panel on Friday. The cast was playfully debating who among them would be most likely to sneak cookies from a craft station when an audience member shouted Loughlin’s name.
Actress Erin Krakow chimed in, saying, “I think it would be one of our favorite friends and co-stars who we are so lucky will be joining us for Season 14. What do you think, maybe we should bring her out now?”
At that moment, Loughlin, 61, stepped out from behind a curtain, much to the delight of the enthusiastic crowd.
Visibly moved, Loughlin walked onto the stage wearing a chic white pinstriped suit, receiving a warm welcome from fans and colleagues alike.
“Thank you,” she said before hugging her fellow castmates.
Loughlin was then asked about reprising her role as Abigail Stanton, seven years after departing the series due to her and Giannulli’s involvement in the 2019 college admissions scandal.
“It feels amazing,” she said. “And my girl [Krakow] here has been championing this for a long time.”
“When did I find out, maybe like a month ago, two months ago, and I just want to thank everyone at Hallmark for being so loving and so welcoming,” the “Fuller House” alum added. “And this just feels incredible.”
Loughlin’s return to the screen, however, also comes following her split from Giannulli, 62, after nearly 28 years of marriage in October.
“Lori and Mossimo are living apart now,” a rep for the Hallmark star told Page Six at the time. “There are no legal proceedings underway.”
That same month, Loughlin stepped out sans her wedding ring while on a casual outing in Los Angeles.
An insider told Us Weekly that the exes had been going through “a really hard time in the last year.”
“This isn’t a shock to people around them. It has been a rough time for Lori. She is devastated,” the source said.
Loughlin and the fashion designer are the parents of daughters Olivia Jade, 26, and Isabella Rose, 27.
