Perfect Match Season 3’s Louis Russell Appears To Confirm He Did Not Find His Match After Holding Hands With Huda Mustafa

Season 3 of Perfect Match recently released its first few episodes on Netflix on August 1. The season sees 22 singles from various Netflix reality shows like Too Hot To Handle, Love Is Blind, and The Ultimatum, and singles from outside the streaming service, sharing one villa and getting another go around at love.

This season sees the return of Too Hot To Handle Season 5 and Battle Camp Season 1’s Louis Russell. Louis earned a reputation for being a flirtatious bad boy, and he frequently broke the rules while appearing on Too Hot To Handle. Although viewers formed some strong, negative opinions about Louis, some agreed that he was entertaining.

However, as the show is airing now, it looks as though Louis may have spoiled it for viewers after he was seen holding hands with Love Island USA Season 7 breakout star, Huda Mustafa.

According to Today, Louis and Huda attended the Los Angeles movie premiere of Weapons on July 31, stepping out in coordinating black outfits. The pair held hands while posing on the red carpet for photos, seemingly confirming their rumored romance.

Louis And Huda’s Romance Ignites Drama With Other Love Island Contestants

Their budding romance has sparked plenty of buzz, including reactions from Love Island USA Season 6 couple Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi. According to Us Weekly, after Leah and her PPG crew (Serena Page and JaNa Craig) unfollowed Louis on social media, Miguel explained via Instagram Story that Leah believed Louis might have ulterior motives for dating Huda, who has skyrocketed in popularity since her Love Island appearance.

“They did it because, as women, the reasoning behind why he was dating her didn’t sit right with them. Whether or not they are truly falling for each other, at this point, I couldn’t care less. I wish them nothing but peace, but my road is my own, and I would prefer if my name and my girl’s name no longer closed into their world,” Miguel shared.

Leah also released a statement after one of Miguel’s friends leaked a video of a phone call in which he discussed her and her friends unfollowing Louis. Leah’s responds appears to seemingly shade Louis. Us Weekly also reported that she had unfollowed Huda after Season 7 concluded.

“I don’t know Huda. There is no “beef.” I wish her well. I am always happy to see a fellow middle eastern shine. I pray she protects energy. From all kinds of people. [T]here’s many reasons why WE unfollowed Louis …. Huda isn’t one of them and never was,” Leah shared.

Regardless of the drama, fans seem more frustrated by the fact that Louis and Huda’s rumored romance may have spoiled the outcome of Perfect Match — revealing that Louis didn’t find lasting love on the show.

What Happened To Louis Russell And Sandy Gallagher On Perfect Match Season 3?

In Season 3 of Perfect Match, Louis forms a connection with The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3 contestant Sandy Gallagher. Despite facing several challenges in their budding relationship, including making each other jealous by entertaining other connections in the villa, the two continued to choose each other and couple up.

After the first batch of episodes aired, a teaser for the following batch sees Louis and Sandy on shaky ground. Viewers hear Louis say, “What happens on vacation stays on vacation,” seemingly suggesting that when the men and women are divided, and new singles come in, he may not see himself committing to just Sandy.

The two are also seen in an argument with Sandy walking with another man in the villa. Louis is then heard stating, “Me and Sandy are done,” but it isn’t certain whether the two end up parting ways.

In an interview with ScreenRant, Sandy shared that while on the show, she was genuinely looking for a real connection.

“My focus was purely like an emotional connection. I, that was my strategy. That was the only strategy I had. If I didn’t connect with someone, I would not have stayed there to be honest. And yeah, I, I found it like really early on. So it was kind of a surreal thing, but it was really amazing.”

As for Louis, he shared that fans would see a different side to him, hoping fans see his growth since his appearance on Too Hot To Handle.

“I think that I…no [laughs] I think that I’ve grown. In all seriousness, I think that going into this show, I had a story that showed a bit of growth into how I deal with, you know, relationships. I think Battle Camp was beneficial for me because you saw a side of me that wasn’t dating. You saw my actual personality and how I am and I sort of brung that… Well, I haven’t seen it, but I felt like I brung it into the dating with Perfect Match.”

Perfect Match Stars AD And Ollie Are Engaged

None of the couples from the first two seasons of Perfect Match are still together. However, reality TV fans do know that despite Season 3 stars Ollie Sutherland and Amber “AD” Smith currently appearing on the show and testing their connection, the two are now engaged, and expecting a child.

Ollie and AD announced their engagement during the Love Is Blind Season 8 reunion, showing a promo for Perfect Match Season 3, before the clip showed Ollie taking AD to a beach where he proposed to her. “You’re my best friend, you’re the love of my life. I’ve never felt as happy as I have since I’ve met you,” Ollie tells her. “Nothing would make me happier than spending the rest of my life loving you.”

In May, the couple shared a video on Instagram announcing that they were expecting their first child. AD captioned the sweet clip, “How you changed my world, you’ll never know” 🤍.
