Earlier this week, the Love Is Blind community was met with disappointment when news broke that Alexa and Brennon Lemieux have decided to part ways. The couple, who found love during Season 3 of the popular Netflix dating show, had even welcomed a daughter together last year.
Following their breakup announcement, fans have been speculating about the reasons behind their split. Observations from Alexa’s recent social media activity suggest that Brennon might have played a role in dimming her vibrant personality, which could have contributed to their separation.
Since making their divorce public, Alexa has maintained a low profile regarding her romantic life. However, she has recently started sharing videos from other content creators that seem to allude to the issues she faced in her marriage, possibly shedding light on her decision to end things with Brennon.
Alexa Reposted Videos About The ‘Hardest Year’ Of Her Life
Since issuing the official statement about their divorce, Alexa has been relatively quiet about her love life. Recently, however, she has begun to repost videos from other creators that seem to hint about her relationship struggles that led up to her decision to separate from Brennon.
Fans noticed that Alexa reposted two TikTok videos that appeared to point to her issues with Brennon. One discussed the Chinese zodiac, noting that this year was all about “necessary endings” and “revelations.”
A quote from the video seems to perfectly encapsulate Alexa’s recent experience:
If you’re reflecting on 2025 and you’re like, ‘This is the hardest f****** year, I don’t understand what this whole year was all about, I’m a completely different person at the end of this year than when the year began,’ just know it’s because it’s the year of the snake.
The second video that Alexa reposted had to do with women getting their spark back. The creator encouraged viewers to bring back their inner light. “Bring that spark back! You’re losing that little light that was in you. Fake it till you make it. Bring it back. Do something, find something that’s going to bring that spark back in you. You need it back. Don’t let it die,” it urged listeners.
Brennon Cited A ‘Conflict Of Personalities’ As The Reason For Their Split
For his part, Brennon has also stayed fairly quiet on the matter. When it came to the official announcement, Alexa and Brennon issued a joint statement that appeared to keep things vague. They both seemed to be focused on emphasizing that they’d be healthily coparenting their young daughter.
“After much reflection and many heartfelt conversations, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage. This choice was not made lightly, and it comes with a great deal of care, respect, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared,” the statement read.
Since then, however, Brennon has hinted at his own reasons for their breakup. This past week, he made some cryptic comments about how he and Alexa were simply too different for the marriage to continue:
[Our relationship] has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between [us] that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.
As of this article’s writing, it remains unclear how far along Alexa and Brennon are in their divorce proceedings. It seems that there will be several difficult matters to be worked out, including how Alexa and Brennon will split up custody of their daughter Vienna, who is around 16 months old, and how they will divide financial assets.
