Welcome to Plathville star Lydia Plath is officially married to Zac Wyse following their two month engagement, and they tied the knot during a blue-themed farm wedding.
Lydia, 21, and Zac got married on February 22 at her family’s farm in Georgia during a ceremony attended by 115 guests. Not only did the wedding mark their first day as husband and wife, but the couple also shared their first kiss during the occasion.
“The discipline it has taken to save our first kiss for the wedding day is an example of the commitment we have for each other going into our marriage,” Zac told People of the decision.
The couple also told the outlet that they chose the farm to have their wedding because they “wanted to create new memories on top of the many memories Lydia had growing up there.”
“We envisioned a time to celebrate our union with our close communities coming together,” Zac continued. “Neither of us wanted to get caught up in the details we won’t remember for the years to come. So we’ve tried to keep our focus on what our purpose for this day is, our union before God, our friends and family.”
For the occasion, Barry Plath and Kim Plath’s daughter wore a white gown that she said was “the perfect balance of lace and sparkle while remaining very light and flowy.”
“What made me choose this dress was how it fit my personality,” Lydia explained. “It wasn’t just my choice but many people who were there when I tried it on agreed that the dress was very much me. It’s a dress that makes me feel free and graceful.”
Not only did the couple – who plans to relocate to Tallahassee, Florida – gush about their actual wedding, but they also revealed they were looking forward to their future as a married couple.

“I love how Zac is always looking for an opportunity to connect and relate to others and I know that wherever we go and whatever we do in life, that will be a very important part of the life we build together,” Lydia said of her husband. “I admire how he always knows how to make all the little things in life fun and helped me be able to enjoy every present moment while they’re still here.”
Meanwhile, Zac said he admires “Lydia’s ability to forget about herself for the sake of others.”
“She’s a light to so many around her, spreading the joy she has like it’s the greatest gift with no price. She gives not with the worry of whether or not she can but that she gave it her all so that someone might have a better day,” he continued about his bride. “It’s truly inspiring and I can’t wait to see how it grows in our marriage together.”
Lydia and Zac’s wedding took place just two months after they announced their engagement in December 2024.
“The moment we were in each other’s arms we were overwhelmed with all the emotions that led us to this moment where all we could feel was pure joy for the commitment we were about to make,” Lydia previously told People about their engagement, which she called an “emotional occasion.”
