Machine Gun Kelly made a rare comment about how much he’s looking forward to welcoming his baby with ex-fiancée Megan Fox.

The rocker, 34, shared an Instagram Story photo of a church stage with the message, “Your past is not your purpose — your priority is ahead of you,” projected on it on Sunday, February 16, E! News reported.

“Church was right on time today. Can’t wait,” MGK — real name Colson Baker — wrote on the photo along with baby bottle emoji as well as one of a man cradling an infant.

Megan, 38, announced the then-couple were expecting a baby on November 11, 2024, including a photo of her baby bump. “Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back,” the Transformers star wrote in the caption. Megan was seemingly referring to the pregnancy loss of a baby girl she suffered with MGK, which she revealed in her 2023 poetry book, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.

Less than a month later, the pair split after spending Thanksgiving weekend together, TMZ reported on December 10, 2024. Megan reportedly found “upsetting” material on MGK’s phone during their trip to Vail, Colorado, and pulled the plug on their romance. The duo began dating in 2020 after falling for each other on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass and got engaged in January 2022.

Megan broke off their engagement in 2023 amid rumors MGK cheated. “You can taste the dishonesty, it’s all over your breath,” she’d captioned a selfie before deleting all of the musician’s photos from her Instagram account at the time. “There has been no third-party interference in this relationship of any kind,” she later clarified. “That includes, but is not limited to … actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons.”

They eventually got back together in one of several breakups and make-ups throughout their turbulent romance.

“Megan and MGK have a very tumultuous relationship, so they could always get back together. But this may have been the final straw for her,” a source told In Touch exclusively on December 17, 2024.

The source continued, “Megan really tried to make it work, but she doesn’t fully trust him and that’s something she can’t reconcile with. Maybe he’ll change, the baby might be his wake-up call, but he has a lot of work to do to regain her trust.”

MGK is already a dad to daughter Casie Colson Baker, 15, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon. Megan shares three kids with ex-husband Brian Austin Green: sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8.

Brian, 51, reacted with surprise when he found out about Megan and MGK’s split, telling TMZ, “I didn’t even know. No. I had no idea,” on December 12, 2024.

He went on to slam the “Bloody Valentine” artist when asked about the rumors that he was unfaithful to Megan. “How old is he? Do you know? He’s in his 30s. Nice … In your 30s, like — I don’t know,” the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum said. “Grow up. She’s pregnant.”

“I just want the best for her, I want the best for the baby, I want the best for our kids,” Brian continued about Megan. “That’s a shame. That’s a shame. I’m heartbroken about it because I know she’s been so excited and the kids are so excited for life and the change and all of that.”
