Madison LeCroy welcomed her second child, the first with husband Brett Randle, on Sunday.

On Thursday, the 34-year-old Southern Charm star announced the exciting news, confirming the arrival of her daughter, Teddi, whom she named after her late father, and revealing that she underwent a C-section after going into labor at 34 weeks.

“I was in labor for 48 hours basically [because] my water broke at home,” Madison told Us Weekly on July 3.

After celebrating her mother’s birthday at a concert while Brett, 38, worked in California, Madison found herself in labor at 2:30 a.m.

“I ran upstairs, and I was like, ‘Mom, I don’t have anything packed.’ It was funny ’cause me and her both were like in my closet trying to pick out what we were gonna wear to the hospital,” Madison recalled.

“This is even crazier. Once I got [to the hospital] and I realized I didn’t even have, like, a toothbrush, [so] I ended up having like my glam come to me,” Madison continued. “I did a blowout and then I did a little fast face, like, makeup natural with one of my girls.”

Although she was one centimeter dilated when she arrived at the hospital, Madison was determined to hold out on delivering her baby until Brett returned to South Carolina.

“We kind of prolonged the labor and Brett got here and then we waited another day and had the C-section,” Madison revealed.

Because Madison and her doctor had become friends, they were able to create a girl power-inspired environment for baby Teddi to arrive in.

“We were sitting there talking, and we were like, ‘What [is] the playlist gonna be for this?’” she shared. “And we were joking around, we’re like, ‘Girl power, let’s go Taylor Swift.’ So we did, we rocked out to Taylor Swift during the surgery.”

“So that’s what she was born to. Now don’t ask me what song, because at that point I don’t have no idea. But yeah, girl mode all the way,” Madison explained, adding that the surgery took just “five minutes.”

After arriving weeks early, Teddi had to spend a “few days” in the NICU.

“She’s a little. She’s only five pounds, but she’s breathing on her own and hasn’t needed any oxygen or anything like that. She’s kind of a little trooper,” Madison stated. “[Doctors] were shocked with how early she was that she was gonna be this independent. So I was like, ‘Oh, I wasn’t shocked at all.’”

After welcoming baby Teddi, Madison told just one of her Southern Charm castmates in advance: Venita Aspen, 31.

Madison also shared the news on Amazon Live in a video stream sponsored by Graco.

“Well, it’s 3 a.m. … my water broke. So we’re on the way to the hospital. We’re kind of freaking out, don’t have anything packed yet. We’re just trying to get there,” she shared in a self-shot clip. “I still feel really good. Brett is en route, so I’m trying to just hold on until he gets here. We’ve got time. We’re just getting excited and ready. She’s a little early.”

Once Brett, whom Madison began dating in early 2021, got engaged to in October 2021, and married in November 2022, arrived at the hospital, Madison made another clip of the two of them as she said, “We’re getting there.”

Madison’s son, Hudson, 12, was also seen on Amazon Live. 

“Hudson, you ready? Can you believe that you’re gonna be a big brother in two hours? What are you most excited about?” Madison asked.

“All of it,” he replied.

Southern Charm season 11 is currently in production and expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year.
