Bachelor alum Madison Prewett opened up about unintentionally losing weight while filming season 24 of the hit ABC dating show.

“It was traumatizing. I lost like, 20 pounds,” Madi, 29, said during a chat with her husband, Grant Troutt, and as well as couple Matt and Abby Howard on the Wednesday, August 13, episode of their “Unplanned Podcast.”

While reminiscing on her time vying for Peter Weber’s heart in 2020, she recalled breaking up with him one day before Peter, 34, got down on one knee and proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss, who is now married to NFL player Jake Funk.

Peter and Madi later reconnected on the After the Final Rose special after he shared that he and Hannah Ann, 29, had already called off their engagement. His mom, Barbara Weber, made it clear that she did not support his relationship with Madi.

Matt, 26, asked Madi how she “kept her composure” while his mom was speaking to her.

“I can’t even remember what aired and what [didn’t],” Madi said. “Y’all, I don’t even know if I watched my season all the way through, I’ll be very honest,” she admitted. “I very much removed myself from all things Bachelor. Even to this day, I really don’t talk about it a ton.”

Since exiting the show, Madi found love with Grant, 29, the son of billionaire Kenny Troutt in 2022. After less than one year of dating, Grant popped the question in July 2022. They tied the knot in Dallas the following October.

The couple announced they were expecting their first baby together in August 2024, and in January, they welcomed daughter Hosanna Rose. Grant and Mady have continued to share sweet moments with Hosanna via Instagram, including an intimate celebration when she turned 6 months old.

“6 months with our Hosanna Rose 😭🩷🤍,” Madi captioned the post in July. “Time is FLYING by. We love her more every day.”
