Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s mother, Pamela Warner, is at peace with her son’s tragic passing in July.

“For those of you who are at a loss, pained by the suddenness of his departure, ache for his presence or just to hear his voice one more time, to see his beatific smile one more time, be comforted that he was at peace and more importantly, he did not suffer,” the matriarch wrote Friday in a lengthy post via an Instagram account that has been made into a tribute page for Malcolm-Jamal.

“Malcolm was birthed through water and transitioned through water,” she added, further breaking her silence. “This was his time. His mission on earth had been completed.”

The “Cosby Show” alum died on July 20 after drowning on a family vacation in Costa Rica. He was 54.

Police then revealed the actor had been “caught by a high current” while swimming on a beach in Limon.

Initially, it was reported that his 8-year-old daughter was with him but she was pulled out of the waters. However, Costa Rica’s Judicial Investigation Agency later clarified the little girl was ashore at the time.

Bystanders reportedly tried to get Malcolm-Jamal ashore, as well, but by the time the Costa Rican Red Cross tried to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no lifeguards on the beach at the time and officials said the drowning happened “very quickly.”

Malcolm-Jamal’s official cause of death has been listed as asphyxiation by “submersion.”

In her post Friday, Pamela honored how her son left “an indelible mark on the world and on countless hearts,” adding, “All who met him, however briefly, were better for the encounter,”

She recognized that he entered the the world “through the waters” of her womb, calling it an “honor and blessing that will be with [her] all the days of [her] life.”

Pamela continued to gush over the “Malcolm & Eddie” alum, stating he was “a kind, loving man with a huge heart for humanity.”

“He wanted all to be aware of their inner strength and that they could succeed, accomplish and transform,” she added. “This was his latest mission and work, transformation, in order for you to be fully present in your life.”

Pamela also praised her son’s abilities as a teacher, coach, business partner and best friend. She also raved about his skills as an actor and musician, who was nominated for Grammy awards and won one.

“Hold close to whatever part of Malcolm’s life that touched yours,” the proud matriarch concluded. “In keeping it near, you keep his spirit alive — nourishing you with the peace, love, joy and light that embodied Malcolm-Jamal Warner.”
