The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16 ended with a bang as Angela Oakley accused Phaedra Parks of spreading rumors that Charles was unfaithful. However, the fallout is ongoing as Marcus, the man who appeared in the last two episodes of the show, is now accusing Angela of blackmailing him into placing blame on Phaedra.

Fans will recall that Marcus made an appearance at Kelli Ferrell‘s event in the next-to-last episode of RHOA season 16. It was there that he made the allegation that Charles had recently cheated on Angela. Angela then had Marcus show up to her event in the finale, where he said Phaedra instructed him to make the allegation. 

Recently, Hollywood Unlocked posted to Instagram and said, “Whew! After #PhaedraParks was accused of setting up the #CharlesOakley and #AngelaOakley cheating scandal, a man named Marcus and his friend Alex allege Angela is the real person to blame!”

Included with the caption were a series of screenshots and clips from RHOA, showing Angela confronting Phaedra over allegedly sending Marcus to carry the proverbial bone. The footage also includes Angela on Carlos King’s podcast, revealing that it was Phaedra who had orchestrated the entire setup to accuse Charles of cheating.

Regarding the screenshots, Marcus can be seen replying to a comment. He says, “So let’s be honest – you blackmailed me to lie on Phaedra. Say I’m lying, and I will release the entire call.” He also said, “And that finale clip? You were “protecting” me – exactly like you said you would on the call. YOU invited me to the gala event AFTER Kelli’s event. And you know why… You don’t protect a stranger unless you have something to gain from them.”

From there, he claimed, “Angela, you don’t know me from a can of paint? You orchestrated the Phaedra lie and sent that goon to my restaurant to threaten and bully us into saying Charles was there with his daughters.”

Notably, the post also includes Marcus allegedly on the phone with Angela discussing him being “protected.” Additionally, there are screenshots of alleged text messages between Marcus and Drew Sidora that show her inviting him to the event as well as making sure he arrived. Per the text messages, he got there via Uber and was supposed to meet her at the bar where she would get him his drink of choice.

Marcus’ friend, Alex, also went with him to the event and can be seen in the episode and in the screenshots shared. Alex also shared text messages. He captioned his post, “Peep the dates! Last year, after we had filmed, we sat down with Angela! Me and Marcus text convo! He admits here Phaedra didn’t send us.”

According to Alex’s text messages, “Marcus, why did you switch up! You know her husband was in the restaurant!” Marcus replied, “She definitely wanted it to be Phaedra, so I didn’t know what else to say.” Alex then says he is sure Angela “knows about Charles” and then mentions him being banned from Madison Square Garden.

Finally, there are screenshots of Alex talking to someone on social media named Cindy Cee. Essentially, this person is saying that Marcus is wrong either way, and Alex then doubles down, saying, “Angela KNOWS it wasn’t Phaedra.”

Following some of Marcus’s claims, Angela threatened to sue him as she wrote on X, “Marcus see you in court my love.”
