Love Is Blind season 1 alum Mark Cuevas and his wife, Aubrey Rainey, have split after three years of marriage.

“After a lot of thought and conversations, Aubrey and I decided to part ways a few weeks ago,” Cuevas, 31, wrote via his Instagram on Saturday, March 29. “This wasn’t an easy decision, but we both believe it’s the best path forward for our individual growth and for our family.”

Cuevas and Rainey, 30, got married in September 2022 after welcoming sons Ace and Axton in April 2021 and March 2022, respectively.

“Our top priority will always be our boys,” Cuevas continued. “We’re committed to coparenting with love, respect and teamwork so that they feel supported and secure every step of the way.”

He added, “As we begin this new chapter, we kindly ask for your understanding and privacy, especially for the sake of our children. We truly appreciate your support and respect during this time.”

While Cuevas signed his statement, “With gratitude, Mark & Aubrey,” the message seemingly caught Rainey off-guard.

“This is news to me,” Rainey wrote in the Instagram comments later on Saturday.

Several hours later, Rainey insinuated that her “world is falling apart” in the wake of the split.

“Life doesn’t stop, even when you feel like your world is falling apart,” she wrote via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, sharing a snap of her sons’ hands. “These boys are and have always been only priority. Lucky to be their mommy.”

Neither Cuevas nor Rainey has shared what led to their breakup. The influencer previously called the Netflix personality “the best husband” in a birthday tribute earlier this month.

“Happy birthday @markanthonycuevas_ ❤️,” Rainey wrote on March 1. “The best husband, the best dad, and speaking for [our pet] Nova — the best dog dad. I’ll forever be grateful for everything you do for us and all the moments we get to share together.”

Cuevas, for his part, subsequently replied and noted that Rainey’s post “means so much.”

“I love you and the life we’ve built ❤️,” Cuevas gushed in the comments section.

Cuevas, a fitness trainer, previously appeared on the first season of Love Is Blind, where he got engaged to Jessica Batten. After Batten, 40, called off their nuptials at the altar, he eventually moved on with Rainey.
