The drama reached new heights in a preview of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion, where tensions flared between Mary Cosby and Lisa Barlow. Mary criticized Lisa for her past remarks, calling Meredith Marks a “wh**e” and for using “God’s name in vain.” During the heated exchange, Andy Cohen intervened to support Mary.

Previously, Lisa was caught in a hot-mic moment labeling Meredith, then a close friend, as a “wh**e” and insinuating she had been involved with “half of New York.” This incident severely strained their friendship for two years. However, in the last season, the two managed to mend their relationship, much to the surprise of viewers. In the current season, Mary accused Meredith of failing to defend Lisa during a cast trip when other members discussed her legal issues.
In the reunion preview, Andy read a fan’s comment: “Mary was right about Meredith not standing up for Lisa during the yacht trip. Meredith, how do you define supporting your friend?”
Meredith explained her silence regarding the lawsuit, stating, “As [Lisa’s] friend, I chose not to read the lawsuit,” according to @therealhousewiveszone on Instagram. “I only heard about it from Angie Katsanevas. Therefore, I couldn’t challenge what they were saying about the lawsuit because I wasn’t informed about it.”
Meredith then shared why she didn’t speak at length about the lawsuit at the time. “Because I am [Lisa’s] friend, I never read the suit,” said Meredith, via @therealhousewiveszone on Instagram. “I heard from Angie Katsanevas about it. So I couldn’t combat what they were saying about the suit because I didn’t know anything about it.”
At this point, Lisa came to Meredith’s defense: “Meredith and I are great friends, and I don’t think––”
“I mean, [you are] now,” said Mary.
“What did you just say, Mary?” asked Lisa.
“I said now you guys are good friends,” said Mary.
“No, we were always good friends, and we had a fallout for a minute,” said Lisa.
“[You were good friends] even when you called her a wh**e and said that she slept with half New York?” asked Mary.
“Do you want to go through the list of everything everybody’s called Meredith?” Lisa clapped back. “Or are you just going to fixate on mine? Because I am mother-f**king sick of hearing the same godd**n things on repeat.”
Mary then told her not to say “God’s name in vain.”
“I don’t normally do it, but I’m frustrated,” said Lisa.
“Well, you shouldn’t do it now,” said Mary.
At this point, Lisa asked why Mary recalled Lisa’s past quote. Andy then stepped in to defend Mary.
“Well, I mean, it was pretty significant,” said Andy. “It took you two years to be able to come back together.”
“But it was also four years ago,” said Meredith. “We’ve moved on, so why isn’t everyone else?”
Andy answered, “Because, I have to say as a viewer, it permeates my thoughts when I watch the two of you, that you two were able to get on the other side about it.”
Later on, Mary claimed that Lisa is “all about Lisa” – and “that’s it.”
